KVIC Recruitment- Detailed Eligibility:

Senior Executive (Economic Research): Master degree in Economics/Statistics/ Commerce (with Statistics and Economics as a subject) from a recognized University.

Senior Executive(Legal): Bachelor of Law from a recognised University.

Junior Translator:

  • Masters degree of a recognised University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; or Masters degree of a recognised University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; or
  • Masters degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level; or
  • Masters degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level; or
  • Masters degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level; and
  • Recognised Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or three years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in a Central or State Government, including Government of India Undertaking.

Executive(Khadi): Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology in Textile Engineering or Textile Technology or Fashion Technology from a recognised University.

Executive(Village Industries):

  • Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology from a recognised University, or
  • Master of Science from a recognised University, or
  • Master of Business Administration with Bachelor of Science from a recognized University.

Executive(Training):

  • Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology from a recognised University, or
  • Master of Science from a recognised University, or
  • Master of Business Administration with Bachelor of Science from a recognized University.
  • Desirable: Certificate Course of at least three months’ duration from a Departmental Training Centre of Khadi and Village Industries Commission.

Junior Executive(FBAA):

  • Bachelor of Commerce from a recognised University.
  • Desirable: Chartered Accountant / Cost and Management Accountant/Master of Business Administration (Finance)/Master of Commerce from a recognized University

Assistant(Training):

  • Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor of Science from a recognised
    University/Board/Institute.
  • Desirable: Certificate Course of at least three months’ duration from a Departmental Training Centre of Khadi and Village Industries Commission.

Assistant(Village Industries):

Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor of Science from a recognized University/ Board/Institute.

Publicity Assistant:

  • Passed Intermediate (XIIth standard) from a recognized Board/ University with Diploma in Library Science; and Two years’ experience in a Library of a reputed organization. Or
  • Diploma in Journalism from a recognized University/Board/Institution; or
  • Diploma in Applied/ Commercial Arts (three years’ duration) from a recognized Institute.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications especially Photoshop /Corel Draw/Illustrator/MultiMedia/ Quark Express.

The selection process is based on Computer-based online examination

Scheme Examination: 

Group-B (NonGazettedPosts) Sr. Executive (ER and Legal) & Group-C:

Computer Based Test on-line examination for a duration of 2 hours consisting 120 questions (Objective type).

Paper Questions & Marks
Part-I (General knowledge/Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical ability and General English)(40 Questions)
Part-II (Professional knowledge (Discipline related))(80 Questions)

Group-B (NonGazettedPosts) Jr. Translator:

  • Paper-I (Objective type): Computer Based Test on-line examination for a duration of 2 hours consisting 200 questions (Objective type Multiple choice Questions) related to General Hindi and General English
  • Paper-II (Descriptive Type): Descriptive Type examination for a duration of 2 hours related to Translation & Essay in Hindi & English.
  • Each multiple type question (MCQ) will carry 1 mark and there is no penalty for wrong answer. No mark will be awarded for unattempted question.
  • The question paper will be in bilingual language i.e. in English and Hindi.
