Last year Karnataka released the result for Pre-University exams 15 April 2019 at 12 AM on the official website (kseeb.kar.nic.in) and (karresults.nic.in) Students got their results from the official website portal at 11 AM. The Overall percentage was 61.73. The overall pass percentage was increased by 2.15 % from the pass percentage of last year. This year also girls outshined the boys with a percentage of 68.2 %. Total of 82124 candidates passed the examination in that 54823 candidates have got the distinction. The passing criteria of PUC exam is that 35 % or 210 marks out of 600 marks. Candidates have to score 70 marks in the language and 30 marks in each individual subject. Udupi district showed the best result followed by Dakshin Kanna. Students from rural areas have performed well with the percentage of 62.88% than urban students percentage of 61.38%. Among all streams in PUC, commerce students showed the best results with 66.39 per cent.
