IRDAI Recruitment 2023 notifications announced for the posts of Assistant Managers. There are 45 vacancies available for the posts. Candidates with the qualification of B.E/B.Tech/M.A/MCA/PG Diploma/Any degree/LLB is eligible to apply for the job. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online. Educational Qualification:
Assistant Managers:
Actuarial: Graduation with a minimum of 60% marks and 7 papers passed IAI as per the 2019 curriculum.
Finance: Graduation with a minimum of 60 % marks and ACA/AICWA/ACMA/ACS/CFA.
Law: Bachelorโs Degree in Law with a minimum of 60% marks.
IT:
- Bachelorโs Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Information Technology / Computer Science/ Software Engineering) with a minimum of 60% marks. OR
- Masterโs in Computer Application with a minimum of 60% marks. OR
- Bachelorโs Degree in any discipline with a postgraduate qualification (minimum 2 years duration) in Computers / Information Technology with a minimum of 60% marks.
Research: Masterโs Degree or 2-year Post Graduate Diploma in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics & Informatics with a minimum of 60% marks.
Generalist: Graduation with a minimum of 60% marks.
Age Limit ( As on 10 May 2023 ):
- 21 โ 30 years.
- Candidates should have been born not earlier than 11.05.1993 and not later than 10.05.2002 (both days inclusive).

Selection Process:
The selection process includes Preliminary Examination/Descriptive Examination/Interview.
Online Preliminary Examination (Objective Type):
- This is a qualifying examination to be eligible for Phase II โ Descriptive Examination.
- Tests will be conducted in English and Hindi (except the Test of English Language which will be provided only in English).
- Time: Composite time of 90 minutes.
- There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective Tests.
- 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- The number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each Objective Test is considered for arriving at the Corrected Score after applying a penalty for wrong answers.
- Through this, candidates for Actuarial, Finance, Law, IT, Research streams, and General streams shall be shortlisted separately for Phase II โ Descriptive Examination as per standards to be decided separately by IRDAI (approximately 20 times the number of vacancies subject to availability).
- Marks secured in Phase I โ Online Preliminary Examination will not count for an interview or final selection.

Descriptive Examination:
- Candidates must appear for all three papers in Phase II โ Descriptive Examination.
- A separate Admission Letter will be issued for this purpose.
- The timetable for Phase II โ Descriptive Examination will be intimated to the candidates concerned along with Admission Letter for Phase II.
- Tests will be conducted in English and Hindi (except the Test of English Language which will be provided only in English).
- Time: 60 minutes each for all the papers.
- Marks: 100 marks each for all the papers.
- Type of Paper: Descriptive (Questions will appear on screen and answers have to be written on answer sheets)
- Paper I: English
- Paper II: Economic and Social Issues Impacting Insurance
- Paper III: Insurance and Management
Interview:
- Candidates who have been shortlisted in Phase II โ Descriptive Examination only will subsequently, be called for an Interview.
- IRDAI shall notify the exact venue, address, time, and date of the interview later on IRDAIโs website and the shortlisted candidates for the Interview shall download their Admission Letters from the IRDAI website as per the schedule to be announced.
- Final selection will be on the basis of the candidateโs performance in Phase II โ Descriptive Examination and Interview taken together (combined score) in order of merit.
- The weightage of Phase II โ Descriptive Examination and Interview will be 85:15.
- The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in Phase II โ Descriptive Examination and Interview under each stream.
- Candidates must note that any request regarding a change in date, time, venue, and center of the Interview shall not be entertained.
- However, IRDAI reserves the right to change the date/time/venue/center, etc. of the Interview or hold a supplementary process for a particular date/session/venue/center/set of candidates at its discretion.

- SC / ST / PwBD: Rs 100/- ( Intimation charges )
- Other than SC/ST/PwBD: Rs 750/- ( Examination fee and Intimation charges )
