Educational Qualification:
Category – I Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
- A Diploma in Engineering or technology (Full time) granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology(Full time) granted by a University in relevant discipline
- A Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an Institution recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
Category – II Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices:
- A Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Humanities such as BA/B.Sc., / B.Com/ BBA/ BBM/ BCA etc., (Regular — Full time) granted by a Statutory University / Deemed University in relevant discipline. – UGC approved
Batch: Passed during 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024
Note: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973, and/or having one year or more experience are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply
Duration: The duration of Apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year as per Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973.
Age Limit: Age limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship Rules.

- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Rs. 10500/-
- Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices: Rs. 11500/-

Selection Process of IOCL Apprentice 2024:
- The board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is interested with the task of preparing of shortlist from the online application data.
- Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines.
- Shortlisted candidates shall be intimated through their registered email ID.
- Shortlisted candidates have to appear for Certificate Verification at Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Chennai
