Detailed Eligibility:

Test Engineer Intern:

You must have:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a major in STEM
Experience in Programming languages, preferably Java and/or Python
Interest in the telecommunications, cable, and media industries.
Ability to work on a team.

Physical Requirements:

INVIDI is a conscious, clean, well-organised, and supportive office environment.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer are normal.

Our Requirements:

Has a good grasp on Python and test frameworks such as pytest, Selenium.
Experience building integration test frameworks.
Fundamental Understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD).
Automated Testing (GUI and back-end), User Acceptance Testing.
UNIX / LINUX system and writing scripts – in Bash, Perl & / or Python.
Experience with code version systems like Git.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Interact with development engineers to devise automation strategies, test strategies and test cases to automate new features and enhance existing functionality
Perform code reviews for product and test code
Testing mindset is a key success factor with a bias for automating tests
Develop tools to automate testing of Software
Development of test plans and procedures
Perform software development and test automation experience in SOA environment
Write unit test code to automatically test the key parts of the system Work closely with Developers & QA team members to review requirements, system designs and plan for both manual and automated testing
Help investigate field issues and support production systems
Be resourceful, flexible, and an excellent collaborator supporting the development

The position will report directly to the Technical Manager of Software Development and will be based in our Chennai, India office.
