Indian Institute of Petroleum Recruitment 2024: The Indian Institute of Petroleum-CSIR has announced notification for Project Associate/Laboratory Assistant/Other posts in various disciplines. There are 20 openings for the above-mentioned jobs. Candidates with the qualification of B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc/Ph.D/BCA are eligible to apply for these jobs. About IIP – Indian Institute of Petroleum was established in the year 1960, its located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand state, India. IIP is one of the constituent laboratories of CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) dedicated to the R&D (Hydrocarbon) sector. There are above 132 research staff in IIP supported by 208 technical personnel. The objective of the IIP is Evaluation of crudes and petroleum products, the Development of processes for petroleum refining/petrochemicals/petroleum products, Technical services, etc.

Educational Qualification:

Senior Project Associate:

M.Sc. (Chemistry) with four years of Research experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organization and Scientific Activities and Services OR
P.hD. (Chemistry) (Ph.D. Submitted not eligible) Or
Ph.D. in Chemistry/Chemical Engg. Materials Science/Materials Engg. (Ph.D. Submitted not eligible) or
Ph.D. in Energy Science & Engineering/Metallurgical Engg. /Mechanical Engg. (Ph.D. Submitted not eligible)

Laboratory Assistant:

B.Sc. from a recognized University with Chemistry as one of the subjects.
3 Years of Diploma in Chemical Engg.

Project Associate -I:

B.E./B Tech. in Mechanical/Metallurgy/Electrical & Electronics/Chemical Engg. from a recognized University OR
Master’s Degree in Data Science/Computer Science/Computational Engg. Information Technology from a recognized University or
M.Sc. (Statistics)

Project Associate -II:

B.E./B.Tech. (Chemical Engg.) from a recognized University with two years of research experience in Research and development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology organizations and Scientific activities and services.

Scientific Administrative Assistant:

Bachelors in Computer Application (BCA) from a recognized University

Duration: Engagement will initially be for six months/one year depending upon the project requirement, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the project

Upper Age Limit:

Senior Project Associate: 40 years
Laboratory Assistant: 50 years
Project Associate: 35 years
Scientific Administrative Assistant: 50 years

Age Relaxation of CSIR IIP Recruitment: Relaxation in age limit will be given as per Govt. of India Rules.

Salary details of IIP Dehradun Recruitment :

Senior Project Associate: Rs. 42,000/- and HRA as per rules
Laboratory Assistant: Rs. 20,000/- and HRA as per rules
Project Associate -I: Rs. 25,000 – 31,000/- and HRA as per rules
Project Associate -II: Rs. 28,000 – 35,000/- and HRA as per rules
Scientific Administrative Assistant: Rs. 18,000/- and HRA as per rules
