Indian Institute of Packaging Recruitment 2023 notification announced for the posts of Technical and Non -Technical Posts ( Library Assistant / Lecturer / Clerk / Others ) in various disciplines. There are 40 vacancies available for above mentioned posts. Candidates with the qualification of B.E/B.Tech/Any UG degree/Diploma/B. About Indian Institute of Packaging:ย Indian Institute of Packaging was set up in 1966 by the packaging and allied industries and the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India with the specific objective of improving the packaging standards in the country. There are permanent campuses of the institute in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai.[1]The Institute is an autonomous body working under the administrative control of the Ministry of Commerce. It offers 2 years Postgraduate diploma in packaging at Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Kolkata. It also offers packaging testing facilities and consultation for packaging development.

Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Lecturer :
- Possessing Ph.D. in Packaging/Allied from a recognized University or its equivalent with 1 yearsโ Experience in teaching/research/industry related to Packaging. Or
- Possessing Masterโs Degree in Packaging / Allied subjects from a recognized University or its equivalent with 3 yearsโ experience in teaching/research/industry related to Packaging. Or
- Possessing Degree in Science/Engineering/Technology with 5 years experience in Teaching/Research/Industry related to Packaging. And
- Possessing Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging from Indian Institute of Packaging.
Technical Assistant:
- Possessing Degree in Science/Engineering/Technology with 1-year experience in Teaching/Research/Industry related to Packaging. Or
- Possessing Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging from Indian Institute of Packaging.
Clerk : Candidate should have graduate or Undergraduate with Computer knowledge and typing.
Library Assistant:
- M.Li.Sc with 1 year experience in technical library of the central/state/UT Government or PSU or Universities or Institutes and Knowledge in Computer. Or
- B.Li.Sc with 3 year experience in technical library of the central/state/UT Government or PSU or Universities or Institutes and Knowledge in Computer.
Young Professional:
- Diploma/Graduate in relevant subjects with minimum 2 year experience for web/graphic design work, with hands on 2D and 3D design, graphic design and illustrator and experience in digital media promotional activities etc.
- Good communication skill in Hindi & English (Speaking & writing, letter drafting), Computer Skill. Etc.
Academic Advisor : Persons of eminence/ Retired faculty in Science/Engineering/Technology with Ph.D from university / institute / industry.
Visiting Faculty :
- Serving/retired in the Packaging & Allied Industry or Government Bodies for a period of 3 years at a time.
- Master in Science/Engineering/Technology with Ph.D. Or
- Master in Science/Engineering/Technology with 5 years experience in teaching/research/industry. Or
- Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging with 10 years packaging industry experience.
Packaging Designer : B. Design or Diploma in Design from recognized Universities /Institutes.
Office Attendant : Undergraduate
Research Associate : Ph.D in Packaging/Allied subjects with 1 year experience.
Security Guard : Undergraduate with 3 yearsโ experience in Government / private sectors.
Gardener :ย Undergraduate with 3 yearsโ experience in Government / private sectors.
Salary :
- Lecturer : Rs 56,100/-
- Technical Assistant : Rs.35,400/-
- Clerk : Rs 19,900/-
- Library Assistant : Rs.35,400/-
- Young Professional : Rs 40,000/-
- Academic Advisor : Rs 50,000/-
- Visiting Faculty : Per hour basis as per norms
