Educational Qualification for IIT Kanpur Vacancy:

Technology Manager:

B.Tech, M.Tech in relevant subject or equivalent
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a Technology management role

Desired qualification:

PhD in relevant subject or equivalent
Minimum three years of experience
Proficiency in programming languages, operating systems, databases and cloud computing platforms
Experience in managing technology projects from initiation to completion Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Roles and Responsibilities:

Support the Technology Strategy Deployment, Assessment of Technology Development, Collaboration and Partnership, Regulatory Compliance, Project Management, Communication, Stakeholder Engagement, Intellectual Property Management, and MIS.

Senior Technology Manager:

M.Tech/PhD Degree in relevant subject or equivalent
Experience: 5-8 years in Technology management Lead Role

Desired qualification:

PDF in relevant subject or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in management lead role
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic technology plans
Ability to assess and mitigate technology-related risks, including cybersecurity threats, data breaches, and compliance issues.

Roles and Responsibilities:

To lead and support the technology strategy deployment, assessment of technology development, Collaboration and partnership, regulatory compliance, team leadership and Development, Project management, communication, Stakeholder engagement, intellectual Property management, and MIS

Duration: Initially for a period of one year, extendable up to 2031

Working hours: 9.30 am – 6.30 pm
