Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)/Project Associate:
- Essential: M.Sc Chemistry (or) MSc Organic Chemistry (specialization) with a minimum of 60% marks
- Desirable: Candidates with research experience will be preferred
Tenure: The initial contract is for one year and is extendable based on the performance of the candidate till the termination of the project or till fund availability.
Upper Age Limit: Less than 30 years
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation for OBC-NCL, SC/ST candidates as per GoI norms
Salary:
- Rs. 31,000/-per month (Consolidated) for GATE, CSIR/UGC-NET JRF, or LS (Lectureship).
- Rs. 25,000/-per month + 8% HRA for those not qualifying for GATE/CSIR/UGC-NET JRF/LS (Lectureship).

Title of Project- Defining fundamental principles of vesicle fusion using infectious and genetic disease models
Junior Research Fellow:
- Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course along with any one of the following:
- Selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- Other National-level examinations are conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions.
- Desirable: Candidates with academic and technical proficiency in one of the relevant areas (biochemistry, microscopy, basic microbiology, molecular biology, immunology) and atleast one year of research experience are preferred.
- Training in cell culture and microscopy workflow, careful handling of bacterial pathogens and BSL2 practices and tissue culture are highly desirable
Tenure: 1 year. The position maybe renewable after a year, subject to the candidate’s performance
