Educational Qualification:
CNC Machine Operator:
- B.E/B.Tech any discipline or equivalent with a Minimum 1 year of relevant experience. OR
- Diploma in any discipline with minimum 4 years of relevant experience OR
- ITI in any discipline with minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Job Profile/Responsibilities:
- Hands on in setting-up of CNC lathes, CNC horizontal milling and CNC vertical milling machines, Wire
EDM, Laser cutting machines and lathe machines. - Experience with reading and editing G codes
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading/ geometric tolerance interpretation.
- Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on
various machines. Experience with off-line tool setter - Knowledge of CNC controls (Siemens, Fanuc)
- Experience running CNC vertical and horizontal milling machines with 4 and 5 axes
- Working knowledge on CAD, CAM and Post processing software (NxCAD, Solid CAM, SolidWorks)
- Must have math skills equal to that used in a machining environment
- Able to process all necessary adjustments to machines. (Including Offset Wear & Geometry)
- Follow work order, blueprint and standard instructions during machine set up
- Perform basic level maintenance on machines as directed
Duration: Engagement is purely temporary on a contract basis, initially for a period of one year and renewable annually up to a maximum duration of five years, based on the satisfactory performance and requirements of the Institute. Contract tenure will commence from the date of joining. An increment up to a maximum of 10% annually may be admissible in case of an extension of the contract, based on the performance of the candidate and the recommendation of the Chairperson of CPDM
