IIIM Recruitment – Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Principal Project Associate:
- M.Sc. in Organic/Medicinal/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry or M. Pharma/M.S. Pharm from a recognized University or equivalent. and 8 years’ experience in R&D in Industrial or Academic Institutions or Science & Technology Organizations and/or Scientific activities and services. OR Doctorate degree in above subject area from a recognized University or equivalent. and Four years research experience
Senior Project Associate:
- M.Sc. in Chemical Sciences from a recognized University or equivalent. and 4 years experience in Research & Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science & Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services. OR Doctorate degree in above subject area from a recognized University or equivalent.
Junior Research Fellow:
- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent. OR M.Sc./B. Tech. in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Molecular Biology or any other branch of Life sciences from a recognized University or equivalent.
Age Limit:
- Principal Project Associate – 40 years

IIIM Recruitment 2022 Selection Process:
- Application (Google form) for these positions can be filled online in the Google Form. Google Form link is available at the CSIR-IIIM website (www.iiim.res.in). Filled in Google Form should be submitted by or before 17.01.2022 (Monday) up to 5:00 pm.
- Google Form submitted after the scheduled date and time i.e.17.12.2021 (Monday) up to 5:00 pm. shall not be entertained for Online Interview.
- Only eligible candidates shall be accessed for the online viva-voce on the date of Online Interview. The list of eligible candidates and dates for Online Interview will be displayed on CSIR-IIIM Website www.iiim.res.in by evening on 18.01.2022 (Tuesday).

- The candidates must have completed Minimum 10+2/XIIth Standard or its equivalent and proficiency in computer typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi [35 w.p.m./30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500KDPH/9000KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word. Time allowed is 10 minutes].
Junior Secretariat Assistant (F&A) :
- Minimum 10+2/XII Standard or its equivalent with Accountancy as one of the subjects and proficiency in computer typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi [35 w.p.m./30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500KDPH/9000KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word. Salary Details:
- The salary for the post of Junior Secretariat Assistant is Rs.19,900-63,200/month and Gross Emoluments Rs.30,830 Approx.
IIIM Recruitment 2022 Selection Process:
- The selection process for the above mentioned posts will be based on a typing test followed by an OMR based or Computer based online Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination.
- Recruitment to these posts shall be made on the basis of the merit through the result of Competitive Written Examination (consists of two papers).
- The final merit list will be prepared only on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Paper-II. The merit list will only comprise of those candidates who have qualified the proficiency test in computer typing and have secured the minimum threshold marks fixed by the Selection Committee for paper I
