The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade intends to engage a person/(s) purely on a contractual basis for one year to work as a Computer Engineer at the New Delhi Campus of IIFT. The contract period may be extendable up to further periods based on the performance and requirements of the Institute. The age limit will be 40 years. The salary will be Rs. 75,000 – 80,000/-. IIFT Careers – Detailed Eligibility:
Education Qualification:
Computer Engineer:
- The candidate should be a B.E/B. Tech/M.Sc./MCA/M.Tech or equivalent qualification in Comp. Sc./IT/Electronics with good academic record.
Experience: Minimum five years of work experience in managing Computer Hardware and Software. Demonstrative experience of managing a campus network of 500+ nodes.
Desirable: Candidate with suitable certification (CCNA/ MCSE/Cyber Security)
Job Requirements:
- Perform routine checks to ensure hardware and systems are stable and operating efficiently.
- Respond to users for any computer-related issues
- Identify and resolve problems as they arise
- Work closely with network support staff to identify and handle network bugs.
- Maintaining Computer networks, including VPNs, routers and other physical hardware.
- Update existing computer equipment so that it will work with new software.
Age Limit ( As on 31 March 2024 ): Maximum 40 years
Salary: Rs. 75,000 – 80,000/-
