IGNCA Recruitment 2023 notification announced for the posts of Project Assistant/Project Associate/Regional Director. There are 05 vacancies available for the posts. Candidates with the qualification of 10th/12th pass/Any degree/M.Sc & M.Sc/M.Phil/Diploma/Ph.D. are eligible to apply. Interested and eligible candidates can attend the Interview. About IGNCA: The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India having its Regional Centre at Bengaluru is visualised as a Centre encompassing the study of all arts, especially in their dimension of interrelationship and mutual interdependence. The IGNCA seeks to place the arts within the context of the natural and human environment. The fundamental approach of the centre in all its work is multi-disciplinary and holistic.

Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

Project Associate:

  • Masterโ€™s Degree in Anthropology/ Sociology/Social Work/ Performing Arts/ Political Studies/ Tribal Studies/ Regional Studies/ Folklore or other allied Social Sciences subjects recognized by University/Institute with minimum 5 years of research experience/work experience in Govt/ PSU/Autonomous Organisation.
  • Desirable: PhD or M.Phil in any of the above-mentioned subjects or equivalent, fieldwork experience, expertise in qualitative and quantitative methods of research, report writing/academic writing skills, publications in UGCโ€Care list of Journals.

Project Assistant:

  • Masterโ€™s Degree in Anthropology/ Sociology/Social Work/ Performing Arts/ Political Studies/ Tribal Studies/ Regional Studies/ Folklore or other allied Social Sciences subjects recognized by University/Institute.
  • Desirable: PhD or M.Phil in any of the above-mentioned subjects or equivalent, fieldwork experience, expertise in qualitative and quantitative methods of research, report writing/academic writing skills.

Regional Director:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree recognized by University/Institute.
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi (written and spoken), proficiency in computers, especially in MS Office.
  • Desirable: Diploma or certificate in Graphic Designing/ Desktop Publishing/ Personal Secretary/ Personal Assistant from a recognized institution.
  • Knowledge about the Arts and Heritage of India, good typing skills, and stenography skills.

Age Limit ( As on 28 July 2023 ):ย 35 years

Salary:

  • Project Associate: Rs 40,000/-ย 
  • Project Assistant: Rs 30,000/-
  • Regional Director: Rs 20,000/-

Educational Qualification:

Project Assistant (Rock Art-archaeology):

  • Post Graduate with at least 55 % marks in the subject of Ancient History & Archaeology from a reputed University/research centre/institute.
  • Preferably having experience in the field of archaeology and rock art.
  • Good knowledge of computers.
  • Good skills in English and Hindi Language.

Work Profile:

  • Field Work- Survey, Documentation etc.
  • Orientation Workshop
  • Mobile Exhibition
  • Seminar
  • Besides the above-mentioned works, any work given by the HoD (Adi Drishya Department) from time to time.

Project Associate (Animator/Multimedia):

  • Graduate with at least 55 % marks in any subject from a recognized University/institute.
  • Post Graduate Degree/PG Diploma in Animation from a recognized University/ Institute.
  • 2 years experience in the field of Animation.
  • Desirable Qualifications: Working knowledge of Graphics Designing, Adobe in Design and Final Cut Pro (FCP).

Work Profile:

  • Making Animated short films.
  • Formatting, Designing Departmental publications and promotional materials related to Departmental events.
  • Besides the above-mentioned works, any work given by the HoD (Adi Drishya Department) from time to time.

Age Limit ( As on 10 July 2023 ):

  • Project Assistant: 35 years
  • Project Associate: 40 years

Salary:

  • Project Assistant: Rs 30,000/-
  • Project Associate: Rs 45,000/-
