The selection process is based on the Computer Based Examination (Tier I) and Computer Proficiency Test /Skill Test/ Typing Test/ Stenographer Test (Tier-II). Educational Qualification:
For Programme Officer:
- Candidates should complete a Degree from recognized University
- Experience: 7 years of experience in the relevant field
For Assistant Programme Officer:
- Candidates should complete a Degree from recognized University
- Experience: 5 years of experience in the relevant field
For Assistant:
- Candidates should complete a Degree from recognized University
For Sr. Stenographer:
- Degree from a recognized University.
- Skill Test Norms in Dictation: 10 mts @ 100 w.p.m. and Transcription: 60 mts (English), 75 mts (Hindi), only on the computer.
- Diploma/ certificate course from recognized University/ Institute in Computer application
For Jr. Stenographer:
- 12th pass from a recognized Board or University.
- Skill Test Norms in Dictation: 10 mts @ 80 w.p.m., Transcription: 50 mts (English), 65 mts (Hindi), only on computer.
- Diploma Certificate Course from recognized University/Institute in computer application
For Lower Division Clerk (LDC):
- 12th class or equivalent from recognized Board/ University
- Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m.in Hindi, on computer.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2020):
- Programme Officer: 18 โ 35 years
- Assistant Programme Officer: Upto 35 years
- Assistant: Upto 30 years
- Sr. Stenographer: 18 โ 30 years
- Jr. Stenographer/ Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 18 โ 27 years
Upper age limit is relaxable by:
- SC/ST: 05 years
- OBC: 03 years
- PwD: 10 years (SC/ST-15, OBC-13 yrs)

ICCR Recruitment Selection Process:
For Programme Officer:
- Selection will be based on the Computer Based Examination (Tier-I) and Computer Proficiency Test (Tier II) will be followed by interview/ personality test.
For Assistant Programme Officer/Assistant:
- Selection will be based on the Computer Based Examination (Tier I) and Computer Proficiency Test /Skill Test (Tier II)
For Sr Stenographer/Jr. Stenographer:
- Selection will be based on the Computer Based Examination Tier I and Skill Test/ Typing Test/Stenographer Test (Tier II)
For Lower Division Clerk (LDC):
- Selection will be based on the Computer Based Examination Tier I and Skill Test/ Typing Test (Tier II)
