Detailed Eligibility:
Education Qualification:
- Senior Principal Scientist:
- MD/DNB /MDS/ OR a PhD after MBBS/ BDS.
- Minimum 15-year research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree in biomedical research, including clinical research.
- First-author original research publications, other than reviews, in biomedical and clinical research in Pubmed /SCI, indexed peer-reviewed journals.
- Proficiency in independent project handling as evidenced by completed externally funded projects as Principal Investigator.
- Principal Scientist:

- MD/DNB /MDS/ OR a PhD after MBBS/ BDS.
- 10 Years of research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree.
- First-author original research publications, other than reviews, in the subject area.
- At least one corresponding author research publication in the subject area.
- Proficiency in independent project handling as evidenced by at least one ongoing or completed externally funded project as Principal Investigator.
Age Limit:
- Senior Principal Scientist: 50 years.
- Principal Scientist: 45 years.
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates.
Salary:
- Senior Principal Scientist: Rs.37,400 – 67,000/-per month, GP8900 (under revision to corresponding 7th CPC scale).
- Principal Scientist: Rs.37,400 – 67,000/-per month, GP8700 (under revision to corresponding 7th CPC scale).
