About HQ South Western Command: The Southern Command officially came into existence on 01 Apr 1895. However, the saga began on 31 December 1600 when Queen Elizabeth I granted a charter to “The Company of Merchants of London trading into the East Indies”. They obtained a “farman” from Emperor Jahangir to establish a factory at Surat in 1613. This Company came to be known as the East India Company. Through trade, the fortunes of the Company grew and their ambitions increased.

Chowkidar :

Cook :
- Matriculation or equivalent and Must have knowledge of Indian Cooking and Proficiency in trade.
Statistical Assistant :
- Degree of recognized university with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as a subject. Two years experience in statistical work/research in govt office/commercial concern. Desirable: Knowledge of compilation methods and statistical techniques in statistical work. Working knowledge of record Machine
Tradesman Mate :
- Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognized Board. Desirable: Conversant with the duties of respective trades with one year’s experience
Washerman :
