- The recruitment is a 6 stage process. It will be held at all the District Headquarters in H.P by the District Recruitment Committee (here in after referred as DRC). The dates for recruitment will be notified separately. The recruitment procedure is as follows:
- Stage — 1: Submission of Online Recruitment Application (ORA), deposition of fees. Stage— 2 : Individual DRC shall notify the recruitment schedule and place. Stage -3: Physical standard test. Stage — 4 Physical Efficiency Test, (PET). Stage -5:Wriften Examination (80 Marks). Stage — 6 Scurtiny. of documents and award of marks

HP Police Recruitment – Constable Selection Process:
- Selection will be based on Physical Endurance Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Written Examination, Personality Test, Medical Examination.
- Physical Endurance Test (PET) – Qualifying in nature only.
- Physical Standard Test (PST) – Measurement of Height & Chest.
- The final selection of the candidates for the post of Constable shall be made on their performance in the written test.
Scheme of Written Examination:
- The written examination will be of 80 marks of objective type of 60 minutes duration.
- It will include questions on the English & Hindi Languages, General Awareness, Maths &
Science and Reasoning Aptitude. - The written examination shall be of 10+2 standard except for Mathematics for which standard shall be of Matricula ion.
