Educational Qualification:
For Junior Clerk:
- Candidates should complete Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Knowledge of data entry on the computer in English and Gujarati
For Technical Assistant (Library):
- Candidates should complete Bachelor’s degree and Diploma in Library Science or B.Lib. from in a statutory University. Experience of Library work in a university.
Age Limit(as on 20.08.2019): 28 years
Age Relaxation:
- 5 years to the reserved category (SC, ST, OBC, EWS), women and PH category candidates, i.e. 33 years
- Additional 5 years to the women candidates belonging to the reserved category (SC, ST, OBC, EWS), i.e. 38 years
Post-Wise Vacancies:
- For Junior Clerk: 17 posts
- For Technical Assistant (Library): 1 post
Pay Scale:
- For Junior Clerk: Rs.19,900/-month
- For Technical Assistant (Library): Rs.39,900/-month
HNGU Recruitment 2019 – Selection Process:
The selection process is based on the written test and interview.
For Junior Clerk:
- The written test will be MCQ type questions of 100 marks
- Each question carries 1 marks with negative marking of 0.25 mark for the wrong answer
- Consisting of General Knowledge (20%), English Language Proficiency (30%), Mathematics and reasoning(30%) and Computer fundamentals (20 %).
For Technical Assistant (Library):
- A technical written test of MCQ Type question of 100 marks
- Each question carries 1 mark with negative marking of 0.25 mark for the wrong answer
Application fee:
- For general categories: Rs.500/-
- For SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories: Rs.250/-
Payment mode: should be paid online only which is non-refundable.
