Educational Qualification :
Management Trainee :
Mining : First Class BE Degree in Mining Engineering.
Exploration : First Class in M.Sc(Geology).
Metallurgy :
- First Class Post Graduate Degree in Mineral Dressing.
- First Class Degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering.
Mechanical : First Class BE Degree in Mechanical Engg.
EEE : First Class BE Degree in Electrical &Electronics.
CS : First Class BE Degree in Computer Science Engg.
ECE : First Class BE Degree in Electronics & Communication Engg.
Civil : First Class BE Degree in Civil Engg.
HR :
- First Class PG Degree in Social Work from Institute of repute and other recognised Institutions/Universities with specialisation in PM&IR. OR
- MBA with specialisation in HR.
Finance : First Class M.Com/M.Sc(Maths)/MA(Stat)/ B.Com with PG Degree/Diploma in Finance/Costing.
Materials : First Class BE Degree in any discipline with PG Diploma in Materials Management preferably from Indian Institute of Materials Management.
Security Officer : Captain or Equivalent in Armed Forces/Para Military Forces/Police Service with 8 years experience.
Age Limit :
- Not exceeding 35 years for General candidates.
- 38 years for Category II(a), II(b), III(a) and III(b).
- 40 years for category SC/ST and Category-I.
Age Relaxation : Age relaxation will be given to the candidates belonging to Ex-servicemen, disabled, widow and others as per Recruitment Rules of the Govt. of Karnataka.

- The selection process includes Written Test / Interview.
