Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) invited applications for the posts of Design Trainee and Management Trainee (Technical) to fill the vacancies of 60 and 40 respectively. HAL invited applications from the candidates of fields Aeronautical, Electrical, Electronics, and Mechanical for the post of Design Trainee and from the field of Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Metallurgy, and Computer Science for the posts of Management Trainee (Technical). The selection exam for these posts is to be conducted and the admit card for the selection exam is now released. To Download HAL Admit Card:
The admit card is mandatory for the candidates to be allowed to take up the online test. Along with the HAL admit card the candidates must take up an identity proof along with them (i.e., Voters ID Card / Driving License / Aadhaar Card / Passport / PAN Card / College ID card). Follow the below procedure to download your HAL admit card.
Step 1: Visit the Official website of HAL – HAL Admit Card Download.
Step 2: Enter your application number, Date of Birth, captcha code, and click on proceed.
Step 3: Your HAL Admit Card will be available there for download.
Step 4: Take a printout of it for future use.
Selection Process for HAL Design Trainee and Management Trainee:
The selection process is a two-stage process.
- All-India based Online Selection Test
- Interview.
- Appointment on basis of the Medical Test.
After the submission of the online application, the candidates who are eligible will be called for the online test. The candidates who clear the online test will be called for an interview.
The pattern for the online test is as follows:
- Type – Objective type. MCQs.
- Duration – Two and Half hours
- Part 1 – 20 MCQs on General Awareness.
- Part 2 – 40 MCQs on English & Reasoning.
- Part 3 – 100 MCQs on the concerned discipline of Engineering.
The Final Merit List will be prepared with the weightage of 85% marks from the Online Test and 15% marks from Interviews.
Medical Test:
Candidates should prove that they are in sound health and should meet the medical standards prescribed by the Company. The appointment of selected candidates is dependable on the satisfactory medical report from the Company’s Doctor as per the Medical Standards of the Company.
All the selected candidates shall execute a Service Agreement Bond to serve HAL for a period of 5 years (excluding the training period). If any candidates fail to meet the conditions that are mentioned in the service agreement bond, then the candidate is subjected to pay HAL a maximum of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only).
