Detailed Eligibility for Greater Chennai Corporation Careers:
Educational Qualifications:
Staff Nurse: Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) or B.Sc. Nursing from an Institution recognised by the Indian Nursing Council and duly registered with the Tamil Nadu Nursing Council
Social Worker (Psychiatric Social Worker): A person having a post-graduate degree in Social Work or Master of Philosophy in Psychiatric Social Work obtained after completion of a full-time course of two years which includes supervised clinical training from any University Accredited by the University Grants Commission established under the UGC Act, 1956 or such recognised qualifications, as may be prescribed.
Psychologist (Clinical Psychologist):
- A person having a recognised qualification in Clinical Psychology from an institution approved and Accredited by the Rehabilitation Council of India, constituted under section 3 of the Rehabilitation Council of India Act, 1992; (or)
- having a Post-Graduate degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology or Applied Psychology or Master of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology or Medical and Social Psychology obtained after completion of a full time course of two years which includes supervised clinical training from any University recognized by the University Grants Commission established under the UGC Act, 1956 and approved and Accredited by the Rehabilitation Council of India Act, 1992 or such recognized qualifications as may be prescribed.
Vaccine Cold Chain Management: BE or B.Tech in Computer Science or IT with one year of Experience in Database Management System administration.
STS (Senior Treatment Supervisor):
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or an Accredited Sanitary Inspector’s course.
- Certificate course in MS Office.
- Permanent two-wheeler driving license.
Programme – Administrative Assistant: Recognised Graduate Degree with fluency in MS Office Package with One Year Experience of Managing Office and providing support of Health Programme/National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), Knowledge of Accountancy and having drafting skills are required.
Hospital Worker (Multipurpose Health Worker): 8th Pass/Fail
Security Staff: 8th Pass/Fail
Age Limit:
- Staff Nurse: Below 50 years
- Programme – Administrative Assistant: Below 45 years
