GIPCL Recruitment 2024: Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) has announced notification for Assistant Finance/Assistant Manager/Civil Engineer/Mechanical Engineer/Security Supervisor posts. GIPCL Careers – Detailed Eligibility:

Education Qualification:

Assistant Finance:

• Qualification:  B. Com with minimum 55% Preferably Semi Qualified CA/CMA shall be preferred.
• Experience: Should have preferably 5 years post qualification experience in a large industrial organization. Candidate should have knowledge of accounting of works/contracts/purchase bills/ sales bills and payments. Basic knowledge of accounting of Tax, GST, filling returns and verification of vendor invoices with purchase order etc. Candidate should be computer literate having working knowledge in Windows Excel/ Working knowledge/ exposure in SAP shall be preferred.

Assistant Manager:

• Qualification: Graduate with professional qualification – Chartered Accountant / CMA (ICWA)
• Experience:  Preferably not less than 03 years post qualification experience. Candidate Should have experience in the field of:
  • Quarterly result, Annual Accounts and maintaining various books.
  • Accounting of works contracts/purchase bills/sales bills and payments.
  • Banking and tax transactions.
  • Bank reconciliations and inter division reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of basic tax laws such as Income Tax, GST, TDS, Work contract Tax, etc. and their compliances in respect of booking of expenses/payment to vendors, filing returns, etc.
  • Dealing with internal & statutory auditors and their reports. Verification of vendor invoices with Purchase Order

Civil Engineer:

• Qualification: Full time B.E / B Tech (Civil).
• Experience:  Preferably 3 to 5 years of experience in Civil Construction field, preferably in Power Plant, Process Industries & Corporates.
  • Preference will be given to the candidates having:
  • Industrial exposure
  • Civil construction & maintenance works in Power Plant
  • Estimation, technical specifications & tendering works.
  • Basic knowledge of computers in MS Excel, MS Word, Power Point, and AutoCAD is desirable.

Mechanical Engineer-on Fixed term Contract:

• Qualification: B. E. / B. Tech. (Mechanical)
• Experience: Fresher

Mechanical Engineer:

• Qualification: B. E. / B. Tech. (Mechanical)
• Experience: Preferably 2 to 5 years of experience in Coal / Lignite Mines in maintenance and operations of HEMM

Security Supervisor:

• Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized insituation
• Experience: Preferably 10 years of post-qualification experience. Candidate should be familiar with Security and Vigilance activities in large scale industrial establishments. He should flair for vigilance, liaising with local and Government bodies.
• Either an ex- JCO/ Havildar from Indian Army or Havildar / ASI with pensionable service from Paramilitary like CISF, CRPF, BSF, ITBP or an ex-army (retired) personnel or equivalent rank who can look after security function with disciplined administartion vis a vis excutes required liasing activities with various local and Government bodies.
• Familiarity with Gujarati language shall be preferred.

Note: The terms of appointment will be initially for 3 years on a Fixed Term Contract, and on successful completion of 3 years, he/she may be absorbed in the Regular Grade of the company subject to performance and company requirements at that time

Age Limit(As on 17 July 2024): Preferably not more than 30 years

• Assistant Finance: 35 Years
• Civil Engineer: 30 Years
• Mechanical Engineer: 35 Years
• Security Supervisor: 45 Years

Remuneration: Pay includes attractive salary, bonus, medical claim reimbursement, PF, etc.
