Gautam Buddha University:

Gautam Buddha University, established by the Uttar Pradesh Act (9) of 2002, commenced its first academic session at its 511 acres lush green campus at Greater Noida in August 2008. The University is fully funded by the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA) and the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), the Government of Uttar Pradesh undertakings. The University Grants Commission recognizes the University under UGC Act and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities. Educational Qualification:

Professor (Computer Science and Engineering/Core Area Management/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering)

Ph. D. degree in relevant field and First ass or equivalent at either Bachelor o Master’s level in the relevant branch AND
Minimum of 10 years of experince in teaching/research/industry (out of which 03 years at the post of Associate Professor or at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor as desirable experience) AND
At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved lst of journal, and atleast 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor / Co-supervisor OR
Atleast 10 research publications at the evel of Associate Professor In SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals

Desirable:

For Computer Science and Engineering – Candidate must have B.Tech. and M.Tech in Computer Science/CSE, and Ph.D. in the area of Data Science/Computer Vision and Graphics/ Artificial Intelligence.
For Core Area Management – Candidate must have B.Tech./B.E. in relevant subject and MBA in core Area Management, and Ph.D. in the area of Strategic Management/ Digital Marketing /Business Analytics.
For Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering – Candidate must have B.Tech./B.E. and M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering OR Mechanical Engineering, and Ph.D. in the area of Robotics and Automation/Mechatronics.

Professor (Law/Economics/Mathematics/Applied Mathematics):

An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals, and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given
A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor (out of which 03 years shall be at the post of Associate Professor or at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor as desirable experience), and/or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate. OR
An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied/applied disciplines, from any academic institutions / industry, who has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years’ experience.

Desirable(Law/Economics/Mathematics/Applied Mathematics):

For Law – Candidate must have LLB and LLM, and Ph.D. in the area of Corporate Law/ Cyber Law/ Competition Law/Intellectual Property Rights Law.
For Economics – Candidate must have M.A. in Economics, and Ph.D. in the area of Econometrics/ Mathematical Economics/ Development Economics
For Mathematics/Applied Mathematics – Candidate must have M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics/ Mathematics, and Ph.D. in the area of Computational Mathematics/ Numerical Analysis.
