Semester examinations will be scheduled and notified on the official website. Students pursuing under GU University has to appear for semester exams twice in the year. University has to conduct odd semester exams in November/December meanwhile even semester exams in April/May. Followed by result will be declared in February and June for odd and even semester respectively. Gauhati University determines the candidate’s result based on both internal and external marks. Candidates have to score at least equal to the minimum marks or greater than the minimum scores. If the candidates fail in Internal examination but he/she qualified the semester examination then the result status will fail. How to check Gauhati University Result UG/PG 2020?
GU will activate the link to check the semester examination result on its official website after the result declaration. After that result portal will be accessed by the candidate’s Register number and date of birth. In case of forgetting the register number candidates can retrieve it from their Hall ticket. There is no hard copy of the result will be issued at the time of result declaration. The original mark sheet will be issued within one month from the result declaration. Discrepancies on the Gauhati University 2020 Result:

Revaluation will be done by applying online with the payment of the nominal fee for the application. Revaluation will be opened on the official website after the result declaration. After the revaluation changes on the score will be updated in the original mark sheet if changed. Mark sheet for those applied for revaluation will be issued after the revaluation result.
Note: Candidates can apply revaluation for any theory subjects while for practical subjects no revaluation will be permissible. f the candidates fail in the practical exams then they have to appear for re-exam in the upcoming semester.
Semester Examination Mark sheet:
All qualified and failed candidates can get their original marks sheet with their obtained result status. The marks sheet will be delayed for Failed /Passed candidates who are waiting for revaluation results. Revaluation mark changes will be updated on the original mark sheets if it is available.
