Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
For Stenographer:
- Candidates must have passed SSLC or equivalent examination.
- Candidates must have passed Senior typewriting and senior shorthand both in Kannada and English language examination conducted by the Department of Public Instructions of the Karnataka Secondary Examination Board or possess an equivalent qualification.
For Typist:
- Candidates must have passed SSLC or equivalent examination.
- Candidates must have passed Senior typewriting both in Kannada and English language examination conducted by the Department of Public Instructions of the Karnataka Secondary Examination Board or possess an Equivalent Qualification.
For Typist-Copyist:
- Candidates must have passed SSLC or equivalent examination.
- Candidates must have passed Junior typewriting both in Kannada and English language examination conducted by the Department of Public Instructions of the Karnataka Secondary Examination Board or possess an Equivalent Qualification.
Age Limit (20.04.2020):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age:
- For SC/ST and Category-I: 40 years
- For Category II-A/III-A, B/OBC: 38 years
- For General Merit: 35 years
Post Wise Vacancies:
- For Stenographer: 02 posts
- For Typist: 01 post
- For Typist-Copyist: 01 post
Salary Details:
- For Stenographer: Rs.27,650 – 52,650/-
- For Typist/ Typist-Copyist: Rs.21,400 – 42,000/-
Gadag District Court Recruitment Selection Process:
- Selection will be based on the Documents verification/ Qualifying test/ Competitive examination and interview
For Stenographer:
Qualifying Test:
- Dictation of 5 minutes duration at the speed of 120 words per minute and they shall transcribe it within the duration of 45 minutes.
- The qualifying test consists of 100 marks. The candidate shall secure minimum 50 marks for passing the test.
- 5 marks prescribed for interview.
For Typist/ Typist-Copyist:
Qualifying Test:
- Dictated for duration of about 15 minutes.
- The qualifying test consists of 100 marks. The candidate shall secure minimum 50 marks for passing the test
- 5 marks prescribed for interview.
Application Fee:
- For Category-I/SC/ST: Rs.50/-
- For All Others: Rs.100/-
Mode of Payment:
- Online: Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking for SBI Accounts only
- Offline/ Bank Payment: Generate challan form on online, download in PDF format and shall remit the prescribed fee in any branch of SBI
