Education Qualification:
Junior Project Fellow:
- First class M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Bio-chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry
- Desirable: Specialization in organic chemistry / one year of working experience in the field or in an analytical laboratory
Database Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications / Information Technology with 3 +years of experience in software development and web-based data handling/development.
- Desirable Skill Set:
- Working Experience in PHP, and Frameworks like Codelgniter, Laravel, web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Query ete., Knowledge of database backup, recovery, security, and SQL, Familiarity with database design, Familiarity with Programming languages API, The ability to ‘work on XAMPP development environment, cross-browser compatibility issues, strong understanding of responsive web design techniques.
- Evidence of developed software applications in biodiversity information/ forestry and related subject
Project Scientist-III/II:
- Doctoral degree in Forestry/ Environmental Science/ Ecology/Environment management Climate change from a recognized university/ Seven-year experience in knowledge networking. Candidates with RS&GIS Knowledge will be preferred
- Doctorate degree in Forestry/ Environmental Science/ Ecology management/ Climate change recognized university.
- Three-year of experience in knowledge networking. Candidates with RS&GIS Koved will be preferred.
- Desirable: RS&GIS in the form of project/assessment/diploma certificate, extension activities, scientific analysis evidence of scientific research as paper/dissertation
Project Scientist-III/II:
- Doctoral degree in Forestry/ Environmental Science/ Ecology from a recognized university/Seven-year experience in restoration and rehabilitation activities
- Doctoral degree in Forestry/ Environmental Science/ Ecology from a recognized university
- Three-year experience in restoration and rehabilitation activities.
- Desirable: RS&GIS in the form of project/assessment/diploma certificate, extension activities, scientific analysis evidence of scientific research as paper/dissertation
JRF:
- First Class M.Sc. in Forestry/ Environmental Science/Environment Management Agroforestry NET(CSIR-UGC NET/ ICAR-NET) qualified the candidate will be preferred,
- Desirable: RS&GIS in the form of project/assessment/diploma certificate, extension activities, scientific analysis evidence of scientific research as paper/dissertation
Junior Project Fellow:
- First class M.Sc. in Botany/ Forestry
- Desirable: Prior experience in plant taxonomy
SRF: First class M.Sc in Plant Pathology/ Microbiology with specialization in Forest Pathology and Net qualified with two years of Research experience:
Junior Project Fellow: First class M.Sc in Plant Pathology Or First class M.Sc in Biotechnology with specialization or dissertation in Mycology
Junior Project Fellow:
- First-class M.Sc in Forestry/Zoology/(Agricultural) Entomology
- Desirable: Some knowledge of handling insects and ‘computer operation including data processing,
Junior Project Fellow: First class M.Sc in Soil Science/Forestry/Environment Science/Environment Management, Candidates have to work and stay in the field most of the time for soil sample collection
Senior Project Fellow:
- First class M.Sc in Biotechnology/Botany/Forestry with 2 years of research experience in Forestry/Botany
- Desirable: Working experience in Molecular Taxonomy
Field Assistant:
- Intermediate in Science
- Desirable: Working experience in the field survey of forestry
Age Limit(As on June 2023):
- Project Scientist: 45 Years
- SRF/Senior Project Fellow: 32 years
- JRF/Junior Project Fellow: 28 Years
- Database Manager: 35 Years
Age Relaxation: Relaxable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST, Women, Physically Handicapped and OBC.
