Associate Software Engineer: Candidates should possess a degree B.E/B. Tech in the relevant fields is eligible to apply.
The Expertise We’re Looking For:
- 2 Years of development experience in Service Now.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Web services.
- Scripting, UI customization, and workflow development in ServiceNow.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Location: Bangalore – Manyata/EGL / Chennai
Shift timings: 11:00 am – 8:00 pm
The Purpose of This Role:
- We are seeking a Developer in the ITSSM team with good exposure to Java scripting.
- This person should have 3-5 years of IT experience with 1-2 years of experience in ServiceNow development.
- The development experience in the Asset Management module will be preferred.
- The person should preferably have exposure to the modules related to Asset and configuration management or Service Management in ServiceNow.
The Value You Deliver:
- Primary responsibility will be the development of wizards and workflows in ServiceNow
- The primary responsibility of customization of the data model in ServiceNow.
- The primary responsibility of development of the integrations to other applications in ServiceNow using Webservices ( REST / SOAP) and database integration.
- Respond to all escalations in a timely fashion.
- Coordination with the on-call person on any critical incidents requiring immediate attention during off-business hours.
- Maintain the documents related to the group and contribute to Knowledge Management articles for better Operations practice.
The Skills that are Key to this Role:
Technical / Behavioral:
- Experience in Tokyo version onwards is preferred
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Scripting in ServiceNow
- UI customization and workflow development in ServiceNow
- Asset Management module knowledge will be preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Good Soft Skills for customer empathy.
- Technical aptitude and ability to continually evolve systems support skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to maintain good working relationships with India and onsite partner teams.
