DTU Assistant Professor Recruitment – Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Disciplines of Design:
- B.Des. and M.Des. with 1st class or equivalent either in B.Des. or M.Des from a recognized University OR
- B.E./B.Tech. and M.Des. with 1st class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech or in M.Des from a recognized University OR
- B.Arch and M.Arch with 1st class or equivalent either in B.Arch or in M.Arch from a recognized University OR
- 75% or equivalent in B.Des and Ph.D in the relevant branch from a recognized University OR
- Graduation in any branch and Master Degree/Post Graduate Diploma (2 years) in relevant branch with first class either in Graduation or Masters from a recognized University.
- Experience: Minimum two years of professional design/research experience of relevant branch in Industry / University / Institution /Research Organization /Design studios
Disciplines of Management (USME):

Selection Process of DTU Assistant Professor Recruitment:
- The applications received will be scrutinized as per the eligibility criteria prescribed by the University for the respective disciplines
- There shall be a screening test for the post of Assistant Professor (except for those exempted under clause
- The screening test for the post of Assistant Professor will be based on prescribed syllabus available on University website.
- The eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor will be required to download admit cards from the University website to appear in the screening test.
- The date of the screening test will be announced on the university website, www.dtu.ac.in. The candidates are advised to visit the university website for further updates.
- The candidates having Ph.D. Degree, have some good research papers as a 1st author/2nd author or corresponding author will be given a weightage of 2% of maximum marks of the screening test for each research paper in category II/III for the post of Assistant Professor.
- The candidates would bring two copies of the same, duly cross-signed on a photograph along with photo-bearing ID, i.e., AADHAR Card/Voter ID Card/Driving License/Passport, on the day of the Screening Test.
- The University will retain one copy of the admit card at the time of the Screening Test.
- Applicants shortlisted in the Screening Test will bring a second copy of the Admit Card duly signed by the Invigilator (Screening Test) and will submit the same at the time of verification of Documents after the declaration of result of the Screening Test
