DRDO Scholarship 2020 – Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) has launched “DRDO Scholarship Scheme for Girls“ through Aeronautics Research and Development Board (AR&DB), DRDO HQ. RAC invites online scholarship applications from the Girls / Women students studying in first year of UG and PG graduates under “DRDO Scholarship Scheme for Girls in Aerospace Engg / Aeronautical Engg / Space Engg & Rocketry / Avionics / Aircraft Engg” for FY 20-21, Batch-02 for 30 Scholarships. Candidates who are doing there current academic year (2020-21) in B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc/ M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Sc in relevant field are eligible to apply for this job. Selection will be based on JEE (Main) score, GATE score. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at RAC website (https://rac.gov.in) from 19 July to 30 September 2020. Educational Qualification:

Under Graduate – B.E/ B.Tech/B.Sc Engg:

Candidate should have got admission in the 1st year of the current academic year (2020-21) to the relevant B.E/ B.Tech/B.Sc Engg. course in Aerospace Engg/ Aeronautical Engg/ Space Engg & Rocketry/ Avionics/
Aircraft Engg.
Candidate should have cleared JEE (Main).
Candidate should have a valid JEE(Main) score
Candidate must be an Indian National.

Post Graduate – M.E/ M.Tech/M.Sc Engg:

Candidate should have secured admission in the 1st year of the current academic year (2020-21) to the relevant M.E/M.Tech/ M.Sc Engg course in Aerospace Engg/ Aeronautical Engg/ Space Engg & Rocketry/ Avionics/
Aircraft Engg
Candidate must have scored minimum 60% marks in the qualifying exam (graduation level: B.E/B.Tech Engg. or equivalent) for getting admission to the subject course as per the guidelines set by AICTE/MHRD. In
cases where the conversion formula is not obtainable, CGPA/CPI of 6.75 (for a 10 point scale) will be taken as equivalent to 60%, as per AICTE guidelines.
Candidate should have a valid GATE
(General Aptitude Test in Engineering) score
Candidate must be an Indian National.

Note – Candidates should be in possession of Essential Qualifications and should have JEE (Main) and GATE valid score” for B.Tech and M.Tech respectively.

Post Graduate – M.E/ M.Tech/M.Sc Engg (Aerospace Engg/ Aeronautical Engg/ Space Engg & Rocketry/ Avionics/ Aircraft Engg): 10 posts

Amount of Scholarship:

Under Graduate – Rs.1,20,000/- year or annual fees
Post Graduate – Rs.15,500/- per month subject to Rs.1,86,000/- per year

DRDO Scholarship Selection Process:

First-year Under graduate (B.E./B.Tech./BSc. Engg.) scholarship (for 4-yr full-time course) will be based on the merit of JEE (Main). Candidates without valid JEE (Main) score will not be considered.

First-year Post graduate (M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc. Engg.) scholarship (for 2 yr full-time course) will be based on the valid GATE score on merit basis. The candidates without a valid GATE score will not be considered
