DRDO Internship 2025: Defence Research Development Laboratory (DRDL), Hyderabad is hiring Interns. Students who are pursuing B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc.  There are a total of 165 vacancies available for this post. Interested and eligible candidates can apply on or before 14 July 2025. Detailed Eligibility for DRDO CFEES Careers:

Educational Qualifications:

Paid Internship:

• Pursuing a Graduate(Engg)/Post Graduate in Engineering or Physical Science, full-time course in the respective discipline from a recognised Indian University/Institute.
• EE: Electronics/Electronics&Communication Engineering/Embedded Systems/VLSI Engineering/ Electronics&Instrumentation/ Electrical Engineering.
• ME: Engineering – Mechanical/ Chemical/Aerospace/Production/ Material/Safety/Instrumentation/Metallurgical/Ceramic
• PH: Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics and allied sciences
• CS: Computer Science & Engineering (CSE, AI, Cyber Security, &allied)

Duration: The duration of internship/project work training will be for a period of 06months.A  Completion Certificate will be issued to students after completion of 06 months from the date of joining the internship program

Age Limit: Below 28 years

Stipend Details: Rs. 5,000/- per month

Selection Process of DRDO Careers:

• Pursuing a graduate Engineering (Final year)/ Pursuing a postgraduate (Engineering/Physical Science) degree (Final year). The student should have good academic track record with ≥60% marks or equivalent CGPA on a scale of 10 (copy to be enclosed) from AICTE/UGC approved universities.
• Principal / Director of institution should provide the request letter to highly deserving Meritorious students only.
• Eligible candidates may be shortlisted on the basis of Interaction/Interview and on the basis of % marks/CGPA obtained in minimum qualifying degrees (average of completed semester /years).
• Shortlisted students will only be notified about the joining procedures and regarding undertaking forms and indemnity bond to be filled by them and by the head of the institution.
• Shortlisted candidates are required to bring a Character Certificate from their College as well as a police verification certificate

Important Dates:

Selected students will have to submit the following documents at the time of joining;

• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from college authorities (in original) on college letterhead mentioning that the student will be relieved for internship training at DRDL/ASL/CAS and that the student will be present for a minimum of 15 working days in a month for training.
• Police verification from local police station. Acknowledgement received from Police station to be submitted at the time of joining (if selected).
• UndertakingforadherencetoIndianofficialsecretsAct,1923.
• Undertaking that interns will follow IT rules and regulations applicable for Ministry of Defence and its amendments thereof.
• Selected students need to provide the bank details for transfer of internship amount.
• Medical fitness certificate from authorized medical practitioners holding at least an MBBS degree.
• At the time of joining, student is required to bring the Aadhar card (in Original) along with college ID card for verification. They should also submit 03 nos. passport size photograph set at the time of joining.
• Allprevioussemestersmarksheetinoriginalforverificationshouldbebrought.
• Original documents will be returned immediately after verification.
• Any other documents if required, will be communicated to the student at the time of selection/joining.
• Indemnity form will be provided by the college as and when required by DRDL/ASL/CAS
