Detailed Eligibility – DRDO DIBT Careers:
Educational Qualification:
Junior Research Fellow:
- Post graduate Degree in First Division from recognized University / Institute with valid NET/ GATE OR
- Post Graduate Degree in professional course (M.Tech) in First Division
- Subject Discipline: Microbiology /Biotechnology /Biochemistry / FoodScience & Technology /Food Technology / FoodScience / Food Process Engineering
Junior Research Fellow:
- Graduate Degree in professional course (B.E./B. Tech) in first division with valid NET / GATE score OR
- Post Graduate Degree in professional course (M.Tech) in First Divisiofl
- Subject Discipline: Polymer Science & Technology / Mechanical Engineering
Tenure/Duration: The tenure of the fellowship will be initially for a period of two years and based on performance, it may be extended for 3rd and 4th year if required.
Age Limit: Age not exceeding 28 years for JRF as on the date of interview.
Age Relaxation of DRDO DIBT Careers: Age relaxation is allowed up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Stipend: Rs.37,000/- per month with HRA as stipend,

Selection Process of DRDO DIBT Careers:
- A written test consisting of Objective type Multiple Choice Questions will be conducted to shortlist the candidates for interview, if necessary
- Short-listed candidates shall be called Tor written test/interview at Defence Institute of Bio-Defence Technologies, Mysuru.
- Information will be sent through e-mail/speed post to the shortlisted candidates.
