DRDO DGRE Careers – Detailed Eligibility:
Education Qualification:
Junior Research Fellow:
- ME/M.Tech in Computer Science/Computer Engineering with first division (both at Graduate and Post Graduate level) from a recognised University. OR
- M.Sc./BE/B.Tech in first division with NET/GATE in Computer Engineering/Computer Science from a recognised University.
- Desirable:
- Candidate having knowledge of numerical modelling/simulation and coding experience
- Knowledge of virtual reality and development in Unity.
- Knowledge of virtual Desktop Infrastructure, HPC system and data center.
Junior Research Fellow:
- Essential: Master’s in Science in first division (both at Graduate and Post Graduate level) with NET/GATE in the field of Physics/Geophysics from a recognised University.
- Desirable: Candidate knowing of numerical modelling/simulation and coding experience.
Junior Research Fellow:
- Essential: M.Sc in first division (both at Graduate and Post Graduate level) with NET / GATE in Environmental Science/ Statistics
- Desirable: Knowledge of computers and statistical tools
Junior Research Fellow:
- ME or M.Tech in first division (both at Graduate and Post Graduate level) in Remote Sensing & GIS/Geo-Informatics/Geomatics/Geospatial Technology/ Spatial Information Technology from a recognised University. OR
- M.Sc/BE/B.Tech in first division with NET/GATE in Remote Sensing & GIS/Geo-Informatics or equivalent from a recognized Institute /University.
- Desirable:
- Experience of fieldwork in the Himalaya
- Exposure of various remote sensing image processing and GIS software, Computer programming, AI/ML-based analysis and modelling
- Knowledge and handling of SAR data.
Junior Research Fellow:
- ME/M.Tech in Design/Instrumentation Engineering in first division (both at Graduate and Post Graduate level) from a recognised University. OR
- BE/B.Tech in first division with NET/GATE in Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering from a recognised University.
- Desirable: Hands-on Autocad and Solidworks software, Dealing with sensors and Instruments
Junior Research Fellow:
- ME/M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering/Instrumentation Engg. in first division (both at Graduate and Post Graduate level) from a recognised University. OR
- BE/B.Tech in first division with NET/GATE in Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Instrumentation Engg. from a recognized University.
- Desirable:
- Embedded Programming
- Programming knowledge in C/C++.
Tenure: The tenure of the Junior Research Fellowship is initially for two years or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
Age Limit: Maximum age 28 years
Age Relaxation: Relaxation for 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC as per the Govt. Rules.
Stipend: Rs. 37,000/- + HRA per month

Selection Process of DRDO DGRE Careers:
- The selection process will be based on the candidate’s performance in the interview.
- Initial screening and verification of testimonials would be done between 10:00 and 11:00 AM on the respective interview Date.
- Interviews of the screened/shortlisted candidates would occur from 11:00 AM onward.
