Education Qualification:
Junior Research Fellow:
- Essential: ME/M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science/ Information Technology with first division (both at Graduate and Post Graduate level) from a recognised University OR
- B.Tech/BE in first division in Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Technology from a recognized University with NET/GATE in relevant discipline .
- Desirable:
- Programming knowledge in Python.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence/machine learning/deep learning.
- Knowledge of Remote Sensing.
- Knowledge of Image Processing.
- Knowledge of numerical modelling/simulation and coding experience.
- Experience on 3d visualization tool, g
Junior Research Fellow:
- Essential: Master’s in Science in first division (both at Graduate and Post Graduate level) from a recognized University with NET/GATE in the field of Physics.
- Desirable: Knowledge of numerical modelling/simulation and coding experience.
Junior Research Fellow:
- Essential: ME or M.Tech in first division (both at Graduate (in Science stream) and Post Graduate level) in Geo Sensing & GIS/Geomatics/Geospatial Engineering from a recognized University OR
- M.Sc/BE/B.Tech in first division in Geo-Informatics/ Remote Sensing & GIS/Geomatics/Earth Science/ Environmental Science or equivalent from a recognized Institute /University with NET/GATE in relevant discipline.
- Desirable:
- Good working knowledge of Remote Sensing and GIS related software (e.g. ArcGIS, QGIS and ENVI etc.)
- Exposure to Computer Programming and AI/ML based analysis.
- Exposure on SAR data processing and analysis.
- Exposure on Landslide ^ Soil Mapping
Junior Research Fellow:
- Essential: M.Sc in first division (both at Graduate (in Science stream) and Post Graduate level) in Environmental Science /Statistics from a recognized Institute /University with NET/GATE in relevant discipline.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Computer and statistical tools
Research Associate (RA):
- Essential: Ph.D in Atmospheric Science/Environmental Science/Physics or 03 years of research, teaching or design and development experience after Master’s degree in Atmospheric Science/Environmental Science/Physics with first division both Graduate (in Physics or Mathematics) and Post Graduate level from a recognized university with at least one research paper in Science Citation indexed (SCI/SCOPUS) journal as first author in related topic.
- Desirable: Good working knowledge in high-level programming languages viz. Python/GrADS/MATLAB etc. and work experiences of UNIX/ LINUS in High Performance Computing System (PHCS)/Workstations.
Junior Research Fellow:
- Essential: ME/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with first division (both at Graduate and Post Graduate level) from a recognized University. OR
- BE/B.Tech in first division in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University with NET/GATE in relevant discipline.
- Desirable:
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering design/mechatronics
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering software like SOLID WORKS, ANSYS. Good programming skills in C and Machine learning
- Instrument and associated software knowledge
- Knowledge of modeling and simulation of system (3D modeling ANSYS).
- Scientific publication in relevant desired field, if any and capable to work in mountainous field area on required basis.
- Knowledge of LSDYNA/Autodyne
Junior Research Fellow:
- Essential: ME/M.Tech or equivalent (Post Graduate level) in Structures Engineering/Civil Engg in first division (both at Graduate and Post Graduate level) from a recognised University. OR
- BE/B.Tech in the first division in Civil Engineering from a recognised University with NET/GATE in the relevant discipline.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Structure Drawing & Drafting software (such as AutoCAD) and Structure Analysis & Design software (such as STAAD Pro/ETAB) or Finite Element Analysis Software (ANSYS/ABAQUS).
Age Limit: Maximum age 28 years
Age Relaxation: Relaxation for 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC as per the Govt. Rules.
Stipend:
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs. 37,000/- + HRA per month
- Research Associate (RA): Rs. 67,000/- + HRA per month

Selection Process of DRDO DGRE Careers:
