DRDO Apprentice (DEAL) Careers – Detailed Eligibility:

Education Qualification:

Graduate Apprentice:

B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent with 60% marks in relevant discipline [ECE, EEE, CSE, Mechanical ]
B.Sc. (PCM/PCB) and B.Lib./B.L.I.Sc. with 60% marks in each degree

Technician Apprentice (Diploma): Candidates must possess a Diploma in [ECE, EEE, CSE, Mechanical ]

Trade Apprentice:

ITI pass out (NCVT/SCVT Affiliation) in relevant trades
Electronics, Mechanic, Information and Communication Technology System Maintenance (ICTSM), Mechanic Auto Electrical and Electronics, Mechanic — Cum – Operator Electronic Communication System, Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Machinist (Grinder), Turner, Instrument Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Mechanic Diesel, Mechanic Communication Equipment Maintenance, Draughtsman (Mechanical), Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA), Library Assistant, Stenographer, Electroplater, Sheet Metal Worker, Wireman, Lineman

Note: Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in last Five years (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026) are ONLY eligible.

Stipend Details:

Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 12,300/- per month
Technician Apprentice (Diploma): Rs. 10,900/- per month
Trade Apprentice: Rs. 10,560/- per month

Selection Process for DRDO Apprentice (DEAL) Careers:

Depending upon the vacancies available in various categories and disciplines, selection of candidates will be carried out by short listing based on academic merit / written test / 5 of 7 interview/ walk-in interview, or a combination of the above, subject to satisfactory verification of the documents
