Department of Forests and Wildlife – Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
For Forest Ranger:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering from any recognized University/ Institute.
For Forest Guard:
- 12th/ Senior Secondary examination passed from a recognized board.
For Wildlife Guard/Game Watcher:
- 10th pass from recognized Board/Institute
Physical Standards for Forest Ranger/ Forest Guard:
- Height: Male – 163 CM, Female – 150 CM
- Chest Girth: Male – 84 Normal 5 Expansion, Female – 79 Normal 5 Expansion
- Male/Female candidates must pass a Physical Test Covering a distance of 25/16 KMs respectively within four hours on foot.
Age Limit (as on 13.02.2020):
- For Forest Ranger: 30 years
- For Forest Guard/Wildlife Guard: 18 to 27 years
Age relaxation:
- For SC/ST – 5 years
- For OBC – 3 years
