CURAJ Recruitment 2023 announced for Assistant Professor Post. Central University of Rajasthan(CURAJ) invites for the post of Assistant Professor in the Department of Sports Biomechanics The appointment for the post will be made on a purely contractual basis for a period upto last working day of the academic year 2022-23 or till further orders, whichever is earlier. About CURAJ: The Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) has been established by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 25 of 2009) as a new Central University, and is fully funded by the Government of India. The President of India, His Excellency Shri Ram Nath Kovind, is the Visitor of the CURAJ. Prof. Anand Bhalerao is the Vice Chancellor of the University. CURAJ is located in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan. In order to meet the challenges of the knowledge era and to keep pace with the knowledge explosion in Higher Education, the Central University of Rajasthan is committed to inculcating and sustaining quality in all the dimensions of Higher Education viz. teaching, learning, research, extension, and governance while catering to the regional and global needs. Detailed Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
Assistant Professor:
- Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree in any area of Physical Sciences, Biophysics, Biomechanics, or Sports Mechanics from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. At least 50% in Master’s Degree in the relevant subject and at least 55% in at least two preceding examinations.
- National Eligibility Test (NET) in the concerned subject of Master’s Degree. Candidates, who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degrees in accordance with the provisions contained in Para 4.1(I)(A)(ii), UGC Regulations, 2018 are exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET.
Note: The relaxation in qualification etc. shall be applicable to the SC/ST/OBC/physically challenged candidates as per the University/ GOI rules.
Salary: Rs.50,000/month
