CTET Exam 2024: Recruitment 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education announced notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 (CTET 2024). Candidates with Graduate/B.Ed/B.El.Ed/D.El.Ed qualifications are eligible to apply. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on or before 16 October 2024. CTET 2024 Notification – Detailed Eligibility:
Education Qualification:
Primary Stage – Classes I-V:
- A candidate should have passed class 12th with at least 50% and hold a 2-year diploma in elementary education degree.
- A candidate should have passed class 12th or equivalent with at least 45% marks and have a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- A candidate should have passed class 12th or equivalent with at least 45% marks with a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education.
- A candidate should have passed class 12th or equivalent with at least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Candidates should have passed their graduation with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education degree.
Elementary Stage – Classes VI to VIII
- Candidates who have graduated and hold a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education degree.
- Candidates with a graduation degree have scored at least 50% marks with a 1-year Bachelor in Education.
- Candidates with graduation with 45% minimum marks along with 1-year Bachelor in Education degree.
- The candidates who cleared class 12th or equivalent exam scored at least 50% marks and had a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education degree.
- The applicants with a pass in class 12th or equivalent exam with 50% marks in minimum along with 4-year B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed.
- Candidates with graduation with at least 50% marks and a 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) degree.
- Any candidate who has qualified B.Ed. The NCTE recognizes the programme.
Selection Process of CTET 2024 Examination:
All questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives, out of which one answer will be most appropriate. Each carries one mark, and there will be no negative marking. There will be two papers on CTET.
- Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
- Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
