Project JRF (Junior Research Fellow):
Essential:
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Civil Engineering and selected through a process described through any one of the following
- Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- The selection process through National level examinations conducted by the Central Government
Desirable:
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent, B.E./B. Tech./M.E / M.Tech. Civil Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent with GATE/ National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship).
Post Duration:
- This post is purely temporary for the period of one year.
- The post is extendable up to 08/06/2025 as per the performance of the candidate.
Project Duration:
- These posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- The engagement of project staff in different projects either in the CSIR – Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar or different Lab./Instt. of CSIR taken together shall not exceed 5 years in any case.
- It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.
Note: That JRF will work in Nirma University, Ahmedabad in the initial stage of project and will work in CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar later stage of project. The candidate have to work at Nirma University or CSIR-CSMCRI, as and when required.
