COHSEM Recruitment 2021 – Council of Higher Secondary Education invites application form for the post of Assistant Programmer (IT), Lower Division Assistant, Data Assistant, Driver & Grade- IV of 21 vacancies on temporary basis, candidates who complete their B.E/B.Tech/Any Degree/HSLC are eligible to apply for this job. About COHSM: The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur was established in the year 1992 under the provisions of the Manipur Higher Secondary Act, 1992 ( Manipur Act 4 of 1992). Prior to the establishment of the Council, the +2 courses in the state were conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur as Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate course in the Higher Secondary Schools and Pre-University course by the Manipur university in the College.

Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Assistant Programmer (IT):
- B.E./B.Tech. [in Computer Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering] OR Master of Computer Application Knowledge of Manipuri, Hindi and English.
Lower Division Assistant:
- Degree of a recognized University. Knowledge of Computer operation along with minimum 6 (six) months Certificate Course in Computer Concepts + Multimedia + Internet. Knowledge of Manipuri, Hindi and English.
Data Assistant:
- Degree of a recognized University. Knowledge of Computer operation and proficiency in MS Office and
PageMaker [with 6 (six) months Certificate Course in Computer Concepts -F Multimedia — Internet + MS Office 4- PageMaker]
Driver:
- HSLC or equivalent from any recognized Board/Council. Light vehicle Driving License issued by the Transport Department in the form of Smart Card. 3 (three) years’ experience from a registered motor workshop. Knowledge of Manipuri, Hindi and English.
Grade- IV:
- HSLC or equivalent from any recognized Board: Council. Knowledge of Manipuri, Hindi and English.
Age Limit:
- Grade —IV/Peon – 18 to 38 years
- Others – 21 to 38 years
- OBC – 41 years
- SC/ST – 43 years

Salary:
- Assistant Programmer (IT) – Rs. 9,300 to Rs. 34,800/-
- Lower Division Assistant/Data Assistant/Driver – Rs. 5,200 to Rs. 20,200/-
- Grade- IV – Rs. 4,440 to Rs. 7,440/-
COHSEM Recruitment 2021 Selection Process:
- The selection process will b based on Written Examination of Objective Type. For Assistant Programmer (IT), l00 marks on (i) General Knowledge, (ii) General English, (iii) Basic Mathematics, (iv) Basic Computer and (v) Reasoning (all as per 12th Standard level).
- For Lower Division Assistant/Data Assistant, 100 marks on (i) General Knowledge, (ii) General English. (iii) Basic Mathematics and (iv) Reasoning (all as per 12th Standard level). [Computer test of 50 marks shall be conducted for written test qualified candidates]
- For Driver/Grade- IV, 100 marks on (i) General Knowledge, (ii) General English. (iii) Basic Mathematics and (iv) Reasoning (all as per 10th Standard level).
