Education Qualification:
Deputy Conservator:
- Must hold a certificate of competency as Master of foreign going ship issued by the Ministry of shipping, Govt of India or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of Shipping, Goxt. of India.
- Must hold Pilot license and have 8 years experience either as Master of Foreign {going ship or in Piloting or ‘cumulative.
Age Limit: 48 years.
Salary: Rs.1,20,000 – 2,80,000/-per month.

Selection Process:
- The selection is by merit for which the bench mark in overall grading in the ACRs will not be below “Very Good
- By Absorption through Composite method failing which by Deputation and failing both by Direct Recruitment

Education Qualification:
Pilot (on a regular basis):
- Must hold a certificate of competency as Master of Foreign Going Ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India OR
- An equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India.
- One-year post Qualification experience as Master/Chief Officer of a foreign going Ship.
Note: Employees of the Board of any Major Port possessing the prescribed qualification and experience may also apply, (The age limit in such case shall not exceed 55 (Fifty-five) years.)
Age Limit: 40 years. (Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules).
Salary: Rs.70,000 – 2,00,000/-per month.

Selection Process:
