CNCI Recruitment 2023 notification announced for the posts of Lower Division Clerk & Laboratory Technician. There are 40 vacancies available for the posts. Candidates with the qualification of BMLT/12th pass are eligible to apply for the job. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online. Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Lower Division Clerk:
- 12th Class Pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
- A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a Computer.
Laboratory Technician:
- Bachelorโs Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with 50% marks from a Govt. recognized university with 02 years of certified experience post-degree in a govt. recognized Laboratory/Medical Institute. OR
- BSc (biochemistry/ chemistry/ botany/ zoology/Microbiology/ Biotechnology). Plus
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a Govt. recognized Institute with 2(two) years of certified experience post Diploma in a govt. recognized Laboratory / Medical Institute.
Age Limit:
- Lower Division Clerk: Not exceeding 30 years
- Laboratory Technician: Not exceeding 32 years
Age Relaxation:
- Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe: 5 years
- Other Backward Classes: 3 years
- Persons with a disability: 10 years
- SC/ST persons with disabilities: 15 years
- OBC persons with disabilities: 13 years
- Ex-serviceman: Military service +03 years
- Departmental candidates: 05 years
- Contractual employees of CNCI who had crossed the maximum age would be entitled to get the benefit of age relaxation corresponding to the number of years they had worked as contractual employees and should be treated as eligible with reference to the age requirements.

Selection Process:
The selection process includes a CBT/Typing Test/Skill Test.
Lower Division Clerk:
Paper I:
- The medium of examination will be English and Hindi.
- No. of Question: 150 Nos.
- The duration of the examination will be two hours.
- Each question will carry 02 marks.
- 02 Marks will be deducted for every 04 (Four) wrong answers.
- The candidates will be Shortlisted into a ratio of 1:5 for the Typing Test based on the score of CBT(Category wise)
- The final Merit list will be prepared on the basis of Marks obtained by the Candidate in the CBT.

Paper II โ Method of Typing Test (Qualifying):
- The medium of Typing Test will be English and Hindi.
- The candidates will have to opt for the medium of Typing Test (i.e. either English or Hindi) in the online Application Form.
- The choice of Typing Test given by the candidate in the Online Application Form shall be treated as final and no change in the medium of Typing Test will be entertained later.
- Candidates opting for English medium should have a typing speed of 35 words per minute (w.p.m) and those opting for Hindi medium should have a typing speed of 30 words per minute (w.p.m). 35 w.p.m and 30 w.p.m correspond to about 10500 key depressions per hour and about 9000 key depressions per hour respectively.
- The speed will be adjudged on the accuracy of typing on the computer of a given text passage in 10 minutes.
- Candidates eligible for scribe will be given compensatory time of 5 minutes.
- Therefore, the duration of Typing Test for such candidates will be 15 minutes.
- Passage Dictators will be provided to those VH candidates for the Typing test who have opted for scribe in the online Application Form.
- The Passage Dictator will read out the passage to the VH candidate within the allotted time period.
Laboratory Technician:
Paper I:
- The medium of examination will be English and Hindi.
- The Scheme of Examination will be clearly explained in the advertisement. ( Check Advertisement )
- No. of Question:200 Nos
- The duration of the examination will be two n half hours.
- Each question will carry a 01 mark.
- 01 Mark will be deducted for every 04 (Four) wrong answers.
- The candidates will be Shortlisted in a ratio of 1:5 for the Skill Test based on the score of CBT (Category-wise).
- The final Merit list will be prepared on the basis of Marks obtained by the Candidate in the CBT.
Paper II: Method of Skill Test
- Candidates will be subjected to a Skill Test wherein 10 to 20 substations will be made to assess the candidateโs skill of identifying the set of equipment of the laboratory and in other related activities and answer to the question related to the substations.
- The duration of the Skill Test will of 30Minutes.
