Project Title: Fishery Resources Assessment, Economics and Extension Division
Young Professional-I:
- Graduation Degree
- Desirable: Species Identification, Data collection related to marine fisheries etc
Duration of Post: Purely temporary for three years from the date of recruitment or the termination of the project, whichever is earlier
Age Limit: 21 – 45 Years
Relaxation: Relaxation as per rules.

Project: DBT project “De Novo whole genome and transcriptome sequencing of Asian green mussel, Perna viridis
Junior Research Fellow:
- Master’s degree in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Genetics/Fisheries/Marine Biology or Equivalent degree
- Desirable: Candidates with strong motivation and independent ideas preferred
Nature and duration of the Post: Purely temporary for six months (extendable)
Age Limit: 35 years for men and 40 years for women
Age relaxation: Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC
Stipend: Rs. 31,000/- per month + 16% HRA
