Educational Qualification:
Project Name: Establishment of Centre of Excellence on E-waste Management
Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
- Essential: First Class (60%) MSc. in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science
- Desirable: 02 years hands-on experience in the area of E-Waste recycling or processing of materials or characterization of materials OR
- Essential: First Class (60%) in B.Tech/BE in Metallurgy/Chemical/Environmental/Mechanical/Materials Science/ Electrical Engineering
- Desirable:
- M. Tech/M.E. in Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering/ EWaste Resource Engg. & Management
- 02 years research experience in e-waste recycling or extractive metallurgy of non-ferrous metals or process automation
Duration: The positions are purely temporary and are co-terminus with the project duration (i.e. 22.09.2026).
Age Limit (As on 09 May 2025):
- For UR: 28 years
- For SC: 33 years
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation shall be provided as per Govt. of India rules. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC for the Unreserved (UR) positions
Salary: Rs. 31,000/- + 30 % HRA (Total 40300/-) per month + 1 month basic towards medical expenses
