ICAR-Central Institute for Women in Agriculture (ICAR-CIWA) is an institution first of its kind in India that is exclusively devoted to gender-related research in agriculture. Established as National Research Centre for Women in Agriculture (NRCWA) in April 1996 at Bhubaneswar (Odisha) under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi, following the recommendation of the Working Group on Agricultural Research and Education, constituted by the Planning Commission for the formulation of the 8th Five Year Plan (1992-97), the institute has been undertaking research on various issues affecting women’s role and participation and the emerging opportunities in agriculture

CIWA Recruitment Vacancies – Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
- B. Sc. in Agriculture and allied sciences
- Master in Agriculture and allied sciences ( Desirable)
- Working Experience in Agriculture and allied Research Projects ( Desirable)
- Knowledge of IT applications, virtual meeting platforms, and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) related to the project will be preferred ( Desirable)
Note: The above position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project
Age Limit: 21 and 45 years
Age Relaxation: As per Govt rules
Salary Details: Rs. 35, 000/- per month
CIWA Recruitment Selection Process 2023:
- The selection process is based on a Wak-in Interview.
Note: The place of work will be ICAR-CIWA, Bhubaneswar. However, the candidate may be placed anywhere in India, depending on the requirements of the project.
