CASFOS Recruitment 2023 notification announced for Laboratory Attendants/ Staff Car Drivers posts in the constituent Academies under the Directorate of Forest Education. There are 10 vacancies available for the posts. Candidates with the qualification of  12th/ 10th are eligible to apply for the job. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online. Detailed Eligibility:

Education Qualification(As on 10-06-2023):

• Laboratory Attendants: 10th Standard/ Matriculation pass.
• Staff Car Drivers:

• • 10th Standard/ Matriculation pass.
  • Possession of a valid motor driving license for motor cars.
  • Experience of driving a motor car for at least three years.
  • Knowledge of Motor Mechanism. 
  • The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in the Vehicle. Desirable: Three years service as Home Guard/Civil Volunteer.

Age Limit(As On 10 June 2023):

• Laboratory Attendant: 18 – 25 Years.
• Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade): 18 – 27 years.

Age Relaxation:

• • The age limit is relaxable for SC by 5 years.
  • The age limit is relaxable for OBC (NCL) by 3 years.
  • The upper age limit for Widows/ Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated and who are not remarried is Up to 35 years of age. 
  • The upper age limit for Widows/ Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated and who are not remarried (SC category) is Up to 40 years of age. (Laboratory Attendant)
  • Central Government Civilian Employees: Who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service: 
    • Laboratory Attendant:

• • • • For UR, the upper age limit is 40 years, For OBC, the upper age limit is 43 years, For SC, the upper age limit is 45 years.

• Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade): 04 Posts.

Selection Process:

• The Written Examination shall be conducted in Coimbatore (TN), Dehradun (Uttarakhand), and Guwahati (Assam). 
• The written examination will consist of only OMR Based Objective Type, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). 
• The total number of questions is 100 for 120 Minutes, each with one mark (there will be a negative mark).
  • General English – 20 marks
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning – 20 marks
  • Numerical and Mathematical Ability – 20 marks
  • General Awareness – 20 marks 
  • General Awareness – 20 marks 
• Success in the examination confers no right of appointment unless Government is satisfied after such enquiry as may be considered necessary that the candidate is suitable in all respects for appointment to the service/ post.

Notes:

• • The Examination will be conducted in Hindi and English only.
  • If a candidate is applying for both posts, he should fill the OMR sheet in the Post Applied column appropriately without fail.
  • There will be separate examinations for both the post. 
  • Information about the Examination indicating the timetable and Centre of examination for the candidates will be uploaded on the websites of the CASFOS about two weeks before the date of the examination.
  • Documents to carry two by the candidate to the examination:

• • • E-admit card.
    • Two passport-size recent colour photographs.
    • Valid Photo-ID proof having the full Date of Birth as printed on the e-admit card.

Application Fee: If a candidate wants to apply for both posts, he has to submit the processing fee and examination fee separately under the same registration. 

• General/OBC-NCL: Rs.750 ( 250 + 500).
• Women/SC/ST/Divyang(PwD)/ESM: Rs. 500 (processing fee only).
