Detailed Eligibility โ BEL India Apprentice Recruitment:
Education Qualification:
Graduate Apprentice:
- Candidates should possess a Full Time Regular Graduation from AICTE / DOTE / UGC recognized Board / University on or after 01.04.2021 in relevant disciplines
- Discipline:

Technician (Diploma) Apprentice:
- Candidates should possess a Full Time Regular Diploma from AICTE / DOTE / UGC recognized Board / University on or after 01.04.2021 in relevant disciplines
- Discipline:

Optional Apprentice:
- Candidates must possessย B.Com / BBA / BBM qualificatoins
- Minimum Percentage in B.Com / BBA / BBM should be 50% & above.
ITI Apprentices:
- ITI Candidates passed on or after 01.01.2021 in relevant trades are eligible

Advanced Training to Apprentices On Short Duration:
- For Graduate Apprentice Posts
- Prior to completion of the Apprenticeship training (ONE YEAR), consent forms will be obtained from the Apprentices who are willing to appear for the screening test.
- Written test will be conducted for 100 marks, the minimum qualifying marks in written test is 35% for GEN / EWS / OBC โ NCL and 30% for SC / ST / PwBD candidates. Based on results, candidates will be considered for the post of Trainee Engineer-I for the period of 2 years in the order of merit.
- Trainee Engineers will be paid a consolidated remuneration Rs.30,000/- per month for 1st year, Rs.35,000/- per month for 2nd year and in the event of extension of contract Rs.40,000/- per month for the 3rd year of your tenure. Income tax / Professional tax and other statutory deductions will be made as per rules. Besides this, a consolidated amount of Rs.12,000/- (Rupees Twelve Thousand only) per year will be paid towards expenses like medical insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance etc.
- For Technician & Optional Apprentices Posts
- Prior to completion of the Apprenticeship training (ONE YEAR), consent forms will be obtained from Technician & Optional Apprentices who are willing to appear for the screening test.
- Screening trade test will be conducted for 100 marks and the apprentices who score 50% & above marks in the test will be considered for advanced training for a period of 2 years in the order of merit.
- Advanced Trainees (Technician Apprentices) will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs.25,000/- per month for 1st year and Rs.26,000/- per month for 2nd year.ย Similarly, Advanced Optional Trainees (Optional Apprentices) will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs.22,000/- per month for 1st year and Rs.23,000/- per month for 2nd year.
- In addition to the above, an amount of Rs.8,000/- will be paid annually to the all Advanced Trainees / Advanced Optional Trainees towards policy premium and uniform charges.
- For Trade Apprentices Posts
- Prior to completion of the Apprenticeship training (ONE YEAR), consent forms will be obtained from the Apprentices who are willing to appear for the screening test.
- Screening trade test will be conducted for 100 marks and the apprentices who score 50% (Fifty Percentage) & above marks in the test will be considered for advanced training for a period of 2 years in the order of merit.ย Advanced trainees will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs.22,000/- per month for 1st year and Rs.23,000/- per month for 2nd year.
- In addition to the above, an amount of Rs. 8,000/- will be paid annually to the advanced trainees towards policy premium and uniform charges.
Duration: The duration of Apprenticeship training is one year.
Age Limit (As on 31 January 2026):ย
- Graduate Apprentice: 25 years
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: 25 years
- Optional Apprentice: 25 years
- Trade Apprentice: 21 years
Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC & 10 years for PWD candidates.
