BARC NRB Recruitment 2022 – Bhabha Atomic Research Centre has announced an online application for recruitment to the post of Stenographer of 89 vacancies. The education qualification should be 10th. The last date to apply for this recruitment is on 31 July 2022. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these positions before the last date. Stenographer (Grade III) :

Matriculation (10th Std.) or equivalent with minimum of 50% marks. Minimum speed of 80 words per minute in English Stenography. Typing speed in English of 30 words per minute.

Driver (Ordinary Grade) :

Pass in 10th standard (SSC). b) Possession of a valid driving licence to drive light and heavy vehicles. c) Knowledge of motor mechanism and the candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles. d) Experience of driving a light vehicle for at least 3 years and heavy vehicle for at least 6 years.

Work Assistant-A :

Pass in 10th standard (SSC).

Age Limit: 18 to 27 years

BARC NRB Recruitment 2022 Selection Process:

Stenographer Grade-III : Level-1: Objective test of ONE hour duration covering General English, General Knowledge, General intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude (Arithmetic). Marking Scheme: “3” marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Level-2: Stenography Skill Test Minimum qualifying standard for Level-1 Test 50% aggregate for General Category (UR) and 40% aggregate for OBC / SC / ST / PH. Empanelment criteria: Based on combined marks scored in Level 1 & 2
Driver (Ordinary Grade) : Level-1: Objective test of ONE hour duration covering General English, General Knowledge, Arithmetic, Motor Vehicle Act. Marking Scheme: “3” marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Level-2: Driving Test. Minimum qualifying standard for Level-1 Test 50% marks for General Category (UR) and 40% marks for OBC/SC/ST. Empanelment criteria: Based on combined marks scored in Level 1 & 2. (Only those candidates qualifying in Level-1 written test will be called for Level-2 Driving Test.)
Work Assistant-A : Level-1: Preliminary Test: 50 multiple choice questions of ONE hour duration consisting of Mathematics (20 Questions), Science (20 Questions) and General Awareness (10 Questions). Marking Scheme: “3” marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Level-2 – Advanced Test: Candidates qualifying in Level-1 Preliminary Test will be eligible for Advanced Test comprising 50 Objective Type questions of TWO hour duration consisting of Mathematics (15 Questions), Science (15 Questions), General Awareness (10 questions) and Basic English (10 Questions). Marking Scheme: “3” marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Final Merit List shall be prepared based on the scores obtained in Level-2.

Stipendiary Trainee Category I :

Diploma in concerned Engineering OR Minimum 60% marks in B.Sc. (Chemistry as principal and Physics and Mathematics as subsidiary subjects)

Stipendiary Trainee Category-II :

SSC with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate PLUS Trade certificate in A/C Mechanic; Electrician; Electronic Mechanic; Fitter; Instrument Mechanic; Machinist; Turner; Welder. The candidates should meet any of the following requirements as regards Trade Certificate: NTC (ITI pass out) of two year duration. OR NAC of Two years duration under Apprenticeship Training Scheme OR NTC (ITI pass out) of one year duration plus one-year work experience after the completion of course.

Laboratory Assistant :

The candidates should meet any of the following requirements as regards Trade Certificate: NTC (ITI pass out) of two years duration. OR NAC of two years duration under Apprenticeship Training Scheme. BARC NRB Recruitment 2022 Selection Process:

CATEGORY-I: Written Examination of one hour duration will be conducted and will comprise of 40 objective (multiple) type questions. ‘3’ marks for each correct answer and ‘1’ mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The syllabus for the said examination will be based on subjects at Diploma/B.Sc. level as the case may be. Those candidates qualifying in the written examination shall be short-listed for interview. NRB reserves the right to restrict number of candidates to be called for interview.
CATEGORY-II: The selection process will consist of tests in 3 stages – Stage 1, Stage 2 & Stage 3. Stage :1 – Preliminary Test: Screening examinations to be held to shortlist candidates. The format of the screening examinations will be common for all Trades and will be in the following format : Examination will consist of 50 multiple choice questions(choice of 4 answers) of one hour duration in the following proportion: Mathematics – 20 questions, Science – 20 questions, General awareness – 10 questions
‘3’ marks awarded for each correct answer and ‘1’ mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. All candidates with marks <40% in General category and <30% in reserved category will be screened out.

Stage : 2- Advanced Test:

All candidates Screened in Stage-1 will be allowed to undertake Stage-2 (Advance Test) in their respective Trade. The Test will comprise 50 multiple choice questions (choice of 4 answers) of two hours duration. ‘3’ marks awarded for each correct answer and ‘1’ mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Candidates with marks <30% in General category and <20% in reserved category will be screened out. Merit List of candidates will be prepared after Stage-2 based upon the scores obtained in Stage-2 only.
In the event of tie, the following criteria shall be adopted in sequence for deciding the position in the merit list : Candidate with lower negative Marks inStage-2 to be placed higher on the merit list. Candidate with higher marks in Stage-1 to be placed higher on the merit list.
