Bank of India PO Recruitment 2023 notification announced for the posts of Probationary Officers in JMGS-I upon passing Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance (PGDBF) in various disciplines. There are totally about 500 vacancies available for above mentioned posts. Candidates with the qualification of B.E/B.Tech/Any degree are eligible to apply for the job. Credit Officer :
- A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
- The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
IT Officers :
- 4 year Engineering/ Technology Degree in Computer Science/Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation. OR
- A graduate degree in any discipline AND Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Tele Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/Information Technology/ Computer Applications. OR
- A Graduate degree in any discipline AND having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level.
Age Limit ( As on 01 February 2023 ) : 20 to 29 years.
Age Relaxation :
- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe : 5 years
- Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer) : 3 years

Selection Process of Bank of India PO Recruitment 2023 :
- The selection process includes Online test/Group Discussion/Personal Interview.
- Final selection of the candidates will be based on the marks obtained by the candidates in Online Examination, Personal Interview and Group discussion.
- The final list will be prepared in descending order for the respective categories i.e. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/GEN.
Online test :
- The tests except the Test of English Language and English Descriptive paper will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.
- The test of English Language and English Descriptive Paper will be of qualifying nature i.e. Marks obtained in English Language and English Descriptive Paper will not be added while preparing merit List.
- Minimum qualifying marks will be 40% for General/EWS category.
- Candidates belonging to the Category SC/ST/OBC/PWD, filling in vacancies reserved for the relevant category, will be entitled to a relaxation of 5% marks in relation to that stipulated for General/EWS category candidates.
- Bank may at its discretion may change minimum qualifying marks.
- There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests.
- For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.
- If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.

Interview :
- Bank will conduct the personal interviews of all the selected candidates.
- Total marks allotted for Interview will be 60.
- Minimum qualifying marks will be 40% for General/EWS category candidates and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD category candidates.
Group Discussion (GD) :
- Group Discussion will be conducted for the candidates selected through online test at some selected centres.
- Total marks allotted for Group Discussion will be 40.
- Minimum qualifying marks will be 40% for General/EWS category candidates and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD category candidates.
Admission for Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance (PGDBF) :
- After final selection of the candidates as above, they to mandatorily pass the Diploma course (PGDBM) before getting inducted/ absorbed in the Bank.
- Course Fee: The Fee for the above said PGDBF course of one year is Rs. 3,50,000/- + GST which can be made by the selected candidate.
Application Fees :
- Application fees & Intimation charges for GENERAL/ EWS/ OBC candidates : Rs. 850/-
- Intimation charges for SC/ST/PWD candidates : Rs. 175/-
