Arunachal Pradesh Power Department Recruitment – Detailed Eligibility:
Draughtsman:
- Minimum Class-X passed with 2 years in Draughtsmanship from a recognized institution or Diploma in (Elect/Mech.) Engineering.
LDC-cum Computer Operator:
- 12th Class Pass or Equivalent education qualification from a recognized Board.
- Basic knowledge in Computer Application.
- A Typing Speed of 35 WPM on Computer.
Multitasking Staff (MTS):
10th Class Pass or Equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
Personal Assistant (PA):
- Graduation from a recognized Board or University.
- Stenography Speed of 80 wpm.
- Basic knowledge in Computer Application.
Driver:
- 10th Class Pass or Equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
- Possession of valid driving license for light / heavy Motor vehicle.
- Experience of driving light / heavy motor vehicle for at least 3 (three) years.
Age limit(As on 29.03.2018): 18 years to 30 years
Age Relaxations: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of APST Candidate and 10 years in case of Meritorious Sports Person. Upper age limit is relaxed up to 45 years for APST in service Govt. employees.

- LDC-cum-Computer Operator – 17 Posts
- Multitasking Staff(MTS) – 17 Posts

Salary details:
- Draughtsman/Personal Assistant (PA): Rs.29,200/-
- LDC-cum Computer Operator/Driver: Rs. 25, 500/-
- Multitasking Staff (MTS): Rs. 18, 000/-
Arunachal Pradesh Power Department Recruitment Selection process:
- The selection process is based on Competitive Examination (200 Marks)
- The Candidates who qualifies in the written examination of PA / LDC shall be required to appear in Stenography Speed test/computer speed test carrying marks as specified against each post.
- The candidates securing minimum of 33% Marks in each individual subject is required as pass marks for their merit position.
Scheme of Examination:
- For Draughtsman: General English, General Knowledge, Conventional Subject.
- For LDC-cum Computer Operator: General Knowledge, General English, Computer Application (Theory & Practical)
- For Multitasking Staff(MTS): General Knowledge, General English, Elementary Mathematics.
- For Personal Assistant (PA): General Knowledge, General English, Stenography
- For Driver: General English, Theoretical Paper, Trade Test
Application Fees:
- Rs. 50/- for APST
- Rs. 100/ for Non-APST.
Mode of Payment: The application should be accompanied by Treasury Challan deposited
under Head Account ‘0801’ Revenue in favour of SE (E), APEC-1, DoP, Naharlagun.
