Army Public School Teachers Syllabus 2019:
Army Public School is going to fill approximately 8000 vacancies for PGT, TGT, PRT, post. For recruiting the eligible candidates, AWES is going to conduct the online screening examination on 19 & 20 October 2019. Candidates have to clear the online screening examination to qualify for an interview and evaluation of teaching skills. Army Public School Teachers Exam Pattern 2019:
The selection of teachers will be based on three stages
Stage 1 – Screening Examination
Stage 2 – Interview
Stage 3 – Evaluation of Teaching Skills and Computer Proficiency
Stage I – Screening Examination:
- Screening exam is going to conducted on 19 & 20 October 2019
- Screening examination is based on the online mode
- Candidates who qualify in this stage will be given a Score Card
- Score Card will indicate that the candidate is eligible to appear for the remaining stages of the selection process
Note: Holding a Score Card by itself does not entitle you to an appointment as a teacher in any Army Public School.
Method of Examination:
For PGT/ TGT:
- Part A: General Awareness, English Comprehension, Mental Ability, Educational Concepts and Methodology
- Part B: Specific to subject
- Total of 90 marks with 180 minutes time duration
For PRT:
- Part A: General Awareness, English Comprehension, Mental Ability, Educational Concepts and Methodology
- Total of 90 marks with 90 minutes time duration
Notes:
- Scores will be normalised to 100.
- There will be negative marking for every wrong answer .1/4 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer marked by the candidates.
- Part A & B will be available together, and the candidates have the freedom to answer questions in the order in which they prefer.
- To qualify, in the screening exam candidate must score a minimum of 50 % marks in each part.
Stage II – Interview:
The interviews process may or may not be held at the location of the school. They may be held as per discretion of the local management.
Stage III – Evaluation of Teaching Skills and Computer Proficiency:
- For Language teachers, Comprehension & written test comprising Essay of 15 marks each will be held along with the evaluation of teaching skills.
- Selection Committee may also hold Computer proficiency tests if they so desire.
