AP Model School Recruitment 2022 – The Andhra Pradesh Model School Society has announced the employment vacancies for the post of Post Graduate Teachers and Trained Graduate Teachers. There are a total of 282 vacancies to be filled for these posts. The educational qualification should be M.A/ M.Sc/ B.Ed/ M.Com/ Bachelor’s Degree/ Post Graduate Degree. Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualifications:
Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) :
- The candidates must possess two-year integrated Post Graduate Course from the Regional Institute of Education of NCERT or Master’s Degree from UGC recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the relevant subjects. AND
- The candidates should have studied the subject Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology at their Graduation level.
- Professional Qualifications: The candidates must possess B.Ed recognized by NCTE (or) equivalent degree with Methodology in the concerned subject from UGC recognized University.
Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) :
- The candidates must possess four year Integrated degree course from the Regional Institute of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in aggregate or Second Class Bachelor’s Degree from the UGC recognized University with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject(s) in aggregate including electives and Languages in the relevant subjects specified AND
- The candidates must possess B.Ed recognized by NCTE (or) equivalent degree with methodology in the concerned subject from UGC recognized University / in case of TGT Telugu and Hindi, Pandit Training from a recognized institution.
Age Limit (as on 02/01/2022) :
- The maximum age limit for the candidates applying for the above mentioned posts should be 44 years and should not be less than 18 years.
Total vacancies: 282 Posts
- Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) : 211 posts
- Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) : 71 posts
Salary:
The salary for the above mentioned posts is as follows:
- Rs.31,460/ month for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT)
- Rs.28,940/ month for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT)
Selection process for AP Model School Recruitment 2022:
- The selection process for the post of PGT and TGT will be done through the Selection Committee and will be on the basis of percentage of marks obtained
- In respect of PGT – concerned subject in the PG and the total percentage of marks obtained in B.Ed. Methodology
- In respect of TGT – total percentage of marks obtained in the Bachelors Degree and the total percentage of marks obtained in B.Ed. Methodology
- In respect of PGT and TGT, the candidates who have served as guest faculty will be assigned the rank prior to the non-guest faculty.
